George asked about people who were bullies when they were kids. I was bullied in school, and in return I bullied my younger brother. I've since tried to own up to what I did, and while my brother and I get along fine we're also fairly distant. I've no idea what became of my bullies but we all have to live with the consequences of our actions, one way or another.

Near Dark and John Carpenter's Vampires are two good vampire movies. And if you want to see the best version of Dracula, watch Horror of Dracula with a young Cristopher (Saruman) Lee.

Really glad you watched the Swedish version over the American remake. Hopefully you'll get to react to more European movies during 2024. Personally I really enjoy how a lot of them are more subdued and low key than their Hollywood counterparts. Perhaps in some parts they're considered more "artsy" or pretentious, but they bring a lot of things to the table that more mainstream popular movies do not, even though they're, of course, popular here in Europe as well.

This makes me wonder if there is any chance the will be "The house that Jack built" on the channel ever. Hands down one of the best horrors ever. Perfect mix of gore and phycological trauma.
