You should definitely keep watching (at least the next 2) but do as little research as possible. The less you know about the plot of the next ones, the better.

It's funny cause I completely get that Micah is unlikable but the girl really is the one who brought the demon into the house lol. Like I personally would have left her but him staying with her through that was something I guess.

When your runtime was different to mine I was worried you had a copy with one of the alternate endings (the one floating around online is better than this theatrical one, in my opinion, but still a great movie overall. Micah's reluctance to call the demonologist is kind of playing on when guys don't want to call in a professional for something like plumbing, etc, as they may find it a bit emascualting in not being able to 'take care of it'. Micah definitely goes a bit far with that though, I'd be on the phone after the first demonic toot. Really love this film, one of the better found footage ones out there, a genre close to my heart.

You should absolutely get around to Lake Mungo at some point. It's presented as an actual documentary rather than purely found footage and while it is scary, it's probably not for the reasons you expect. It's a refreshing, alternate take on the ghost movie genre and there's nothing else quite like it.

Just adding to the consensus... The first 3 are really good, the second and third explain a lot of what happened in the first one... they should have stopped at that... the rest take a nosedive...

On the sequels, they're decent from what I can remember but I'll also say this. We don't get much horror on Cinebinge and there are much better horror films out there than the Paranormal Activity/Saw sequels, and lots of them.

On the supernatural front... I am an unbeliever during the day. Just completely confident that is all BS. Just don't ask me about it at 2am, or really anytime in the dark in the wilderness. Nothing counts at night, away from civilization, when something strange is splashing in the creek 100ft from where you are camping.

I hope you know what you got yourself into. there are 4 in this series. there are like 7 in the franchise, but I'm pretty sure there are four in sequence and then the 3 last ones look like cash grabs and I don't remember or think I've seen them. or at least the last 2. But the first 3-4 are great. Please continue until you find a bad one!!!!!!
