The French movie Intouchables (2011) is a must watch at some point if you guys ever do a foreign movie poll again.

You should check out some of Robert (the violent Begbie from the movie) Carlyle's movies like the 19th Century horror 'Ravenous' about a remote US military outpost or the feel good comedy 'The Full Monty' about a group of unemployed middle-aged steel workers who decide to form a male strippers act.

Well, I made it a week without you guys. But my Tuesday morning was missing something. I kept wondering what you guys were watching. So I am back!

Dead baby in the crib is the only slightly disturbing bit in the movie for me, and what disturbs me is the agony and distress of the mother. The rest of the movie, even the fucked up stuff, is punctuated or laced with pitch black comedy and gallows humour. The tone of the film is PERFECT. I mean, the extremely fake baby crawling across the ceiling is hardly played straight. More like an absurd and surreal comical nightmare. Requiem for a Dream is 10 times more harrowing for me.
