Michael Caine was in The Ipcress File and its sequels, an alterna-Bond series that was also a huge influence on the Austin Powers movies, especially Caine's character's thick-rimmed glasses.

Not to pile onto the revisiting train, but with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 it would be nice to come back to the MCU. George and Simone can watch the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Hopefully, an entry in the next poll?

Yeah, but I always wonder if one of them didn't really enjoy it or if it didn't perform well. I don't want them to return if they didn't enjoy the movie. I assumed they weren't doing Goldmember because the Austin Powers movies didn't perform well. There's a lot that has to go into their decisions.

I haven't seen this one since it came out. I remember really disliking it in a way I hadn't the previous two Austin Powers movies, like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with the characters and the humour.

lmao i feel so bad for Simone and George... they got a bunch of ppl asking them to do this movie for a while, so they finally do it, only to get a bunch of comments saying how shit it is and looking like no ones enjoying it on here. Not only that, but some of you even downvoting their video on YT (yeah i got plugin that can see it). as if its their fault that the movie isnt good.

Also also the 3 wheeled car is real. It was called the Corbin Sparrow. They made them until 2016. They’re a small 3 wheeler made in Ohio and cost about $6k
