Onno Smits

You should totally watch The Holiday for Christmas! Jack Black is great in that.

I love this movie. I also recommend checking out “The Rocker” which is a similar vein and and underrated movie with a great cast.

Summer went on to be Carly in Nickeloeon's iCarly, and Jack Black made a cameo, where he chewed up all the scenery, Jack Black style. You can see them both in this clip: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1348024412667141

One of the many things I love about this movie is the way Dewy manages, as a teacher, to be both horrible and wonderful at the same time. And they made it work. Great reaction, you two. So happy you loved it. If you haven't seen it yet, you have GOT to watch Sister Act. There is a sequel as well, and it's one of a small handful of movies in which the sequel is as good or better than the original.

According to this old reddit post, it wasn't just me... https://www.reddit.com/r/harrypotter/comments/9o8tje/anybody_else_get_malfoy_and_crabbe_vibes_when/

I just watched another Black/Linklater collaboration, "Bernie", that was recommended above. I've never seen Black act like this. I recommend going in without *any* prior knowledge or looking at the IMDB page.

Highly recommend Jack Black in High Fidelity (2000). It was one of his first big roles on film, John Cusack is great as the downer of a protagonist, and the entire black comedy romance movie is filled with quotable lines.

I always watch the full credits of this movie, it's just delightful.

Mike White plays Ned, his friend/roommate, and he also is the primary writer of the movie.
