I never saw this before. It's an interesting use of metaphor, but very depressing that only one of the lead characters makes it out at the end and the punishment for failure is arguably worse than death. Can't say I'm a big fan.

I’m not a big fan of Snyder but I think this is one of the most underrated and unfairly mistreated films by both critics and audiences, Maybe this is also his charm. The fact that many, may even be because of the film itself, have not succeeded or have not tried to try to understand the subtext of the film

could have seen this one on Cine Cringe.. Only way to watch would be volume off and music tracks going movie looks Amazing but the story is garbage. imo
