Andrew Roach

Let me lead by saying Cinebinge were perhaps my favorite reactors but George's non stop negative and mostly PETTY nitpicks were damned annoying! Remember, most movies voted in polls are loved so this type of petty is vile. Some examples perhaps: - why pick Cage for this assignment, well the whole opening spelled out he was the main media guy so you would want him to sell the invasion. - why did the General do this, well I guess he just didn't react well to blackmailers. - why no phone calls from the base, really? this was an issue, really? how rules are now play no role in a futuristic situation where the world is falling to an alien invasion. perhaps prior missions were compromised by calls. - and by far the worse: most people's reaction to the carrier's floor opening for the drop is WOW, George's was to scowl, actually scowl! I guess he would prefer the bottleneck of a door? If this negative nancy'ing continues you will have one less patreon and I wonder if I am alone. Perhaps a poll, perhaps Simone it's time to drop a negative nancy...

It can get annoying yeah , will I unsubscribe because of it ? No , George fall into the category of people that Grant Morrison describe one day , that don't go always well with reaction channel that goes like. Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.” "Kids understand that real crabs don't sing like the ones in The Little Mermaid. But you give an adult fiction, and the adult starts asking really fucking dumb questions like `how does superman fly? How do those eyebeams work? Who pumps the batmobile's tires?' it's a fucking made-up story, you idiot! Nobody pumps the tires!"

I always like the poster describing part. You should do it the other way around if its a movie Simone has seen but George hasn't.

Look, I'm exactly like George, I love nitpicking movies. But what you guys don't get is, WE KNOW THAT IT IS FICTION! We just try to compare it to reality because its fun, not to criticize. Nobody is saying its a bad film because it is not realistic, but that does not mean we can not compare it to reality as a fun mental exercise. The better question is, why does it bother your guys so much? Why are you so protective over a film?

I was talking in general not about this movie to begin with and like you said , you love it , some people don't , end of the story , have a nice day.

Thank for the reaction guys :) I love this movie! And hey. I got to see THE Emily Blunt scene all over again. I agree with Simone, it's easy to girl crush on xD

I recommend The Wolf Man (2010). It has Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.

Hey guys, pls consider watching Jack Reacher movies. Great stuff with Tom Cruise.

Ken Myers

The movie to me that is closest to Edge of Tomorrow is Source Code. Great film, action / sci-fi, and I think only one reaction to it. Really flying under the radar with reactors. Also, Frailty as mentioned starring Bill Paxton, another great movie, also flying under the radar with reactors even though it's overall probably a better movie than Edge of Tomorrow, somewhere between Memento and Sixth Sense in terms of quality.

Jack Burton

My vote is to react to the show on Amazon. Cruise did fine, and I enjoyed them, but he's not meant to play Jack Reacher. Either way though I'd watch it. :)

Bill Paxton is the lead in Twister. The kind of movie Hollywood does not make anymore. Deffinately worth watching!

David Martin

Frailty is very good, but disturbing. I really like Bill Paxton and he's reason enough to watch a film. A hidden gem of his is "One False Move (1992)".

David Martin

Edge of Tomorrow rests on the performances of Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise. The story has a great premise, but you can kind of see where it's going as it plays out. I was stunned by the ending of Frailty -- never saw it coming. Just writing about it makes me want to watch it again!

I'd like to recommend MINORITY REPORT (2002), another sci-fi movie with Cruise, directed by Spielberg. I'd say it's more uneven than Edge of Tomorrow (a lot of the jokes feel out of place), but it's still got a lot of really great ideas and individual scenes. Cruise is solid as usual, and there's even a scene that's very reminiscent of the scene from Edge of Tomorrow when Cruise/Blunt break into the government building.

You guys mention you wanna see more Emily Blunt movies, it was actually the Mary Poppins remake followed by Jungle Cruise that made me fall for her. Really fun movies and she absolutely radiates pure blinding light in each.

Yeah, sometimes it really irks me. In this movie in the beginning especially. He questions everything. How about just watching the movie. And i guess, they have to talk about something for Youtube, but for some reason they often talk during great action scenes in this movie and i just feel like with so many reactors that they don't care that much about what is actually happening. Most reactors pause and listen to some dialogs and tear jerking moments, but hell of action is used to talk about where do i know this actor from :) Well, this is more likely to happen with a pair of reactors than when there is just one person.
