I recommend watching the documentary that was paired with the show "We stand alone together" and another HBO show "The Pacific", a similar show which depicts the Pacific theater of the war and how it was drastically different from the European Theater.

There is one more episode that you would love. It is the documentary call "We Stand Alone Together". It comes with the DVD when you buy it. It is available on You Tube. It is interviews with all the men, old films of them, their reunions after the war and even shows Guarnere and Heffron on a return trip to Bastogne in their 80's. It is a must watch.

As fellow Canadians, you should watch "Storming Juno". About 10 years after "Band of Brothers" History Television wanted to present a Canadian story for Remembrance Day so they talked to a production company and "Storming Juno is what they came up with. Like BoB, it follows real life stories (a paratrooper, a tanker and an infantry company) as they land on D-Day. They filmed it entirely in Ontario with the inland stuff on a farm in Cambridge, the ship shots on board HMCS Haida which is a WWII destroyer in the harbour in Hamilton, and the beach landings in Sauble Beach along Lake Huron. You can get a copy on Youtube and I think Amazon. It's about 90 minutes long, including the documentary afterward.
