I still would like to see A Series of Unfortunate events.

Mel Brooks made some brilliant comedies. History of the World was probably one of his weakest

These are all fun comedies! My tastes lean toward Raising Arizona, Fish Called Wanda, and Little Miss Sunshine. But Raising Arizona is the one with the most repeat viewings in my house, and I think like Simone and George will def enjoy it as they like Coen bros films. I'm sure folks will disagree, but "I'm ok, you're ok! That there's what it is!" 😆

Raising Arizona is great!

HeyHeyJK

The thing with "Raising Arizona" is that it's a Coen Brothers movie, but so not like any of their others. It takes the 'caper gone wrong' trope they excel in, but then puts it into a full blown comedy that plays like a live action Looney Tune. So much fun. I also agree with you on "A Fish Called Wanda", which I love. "Little Miss Sunshine" is great, but it's been on so many other reaction channels while the two mentioned above are harder to find.

Since you watched The Descended Y’all need to watch Dog Soldiers Same director British film

History of the World getting so few votes is a tragedy

BoredLittleLady

I know I keep suggesting the same movies: Emma (2020), Instructions Not Included (2013). These comedies are very different but enjoyable.

This is a Cornucopia of Cinema... An Eclectic Selection of Fun Films...

Movie suggestion: "K-Pax" from 2001. Not sure why (I think the movie is good), but it seems to be a relatively unknown movie. PS: George, do you think that maybe a list with suggested movies / tv series would be a good idea, so users know what has already been suggested? I saw that other people are doing a similar thing. They even linked it with IMDB somehow (users search for films, get results from IMDB and add it to your list if it's not already on it), so you automatically get a poster, release date, and so on.

Good God, you could take the top 4 here and not be disappointed in any of them. Great poll.

Just shows how out of touch my sense of comedy is with the rest of the group. My three picks got the lowest votes, and my three least favorites got the highest. My absolute least favorite won. Which is rather amusing to me...

Without spoilers for George and Simone, I'm curious on your critique of little miss sunshine if you're up for sharing?

For a future drama poll, I would love to suggest The Fisher King. Fantastic cast, wonderful movie, and think you two would really be into it.
