Rhaenys

She felt her heart beating in her throat as Cannibal flew over King's Landing.

She and Val had been with Aemon since the incident with Cannibal. His burns hadn't been that severe, but Wildfire touched him, and even the smallest touch can burn someone.

Aemon's back had a burning scar that went across like a thin line on his entire back. Thankfully, the wound hadn't been infected due to his resistance to fire, and the Maester didn't need to cut away the burned flesh. The scar left would always be on his back, but the Maester had reassured them that his scar was much better than it would have been if Aemon had been like everyone else, even saying that if he was like everyone else, there was a high chance that Aemon could have died from his wound.

After Aemon was no longer in danger of dying, her father had ordered for Cannibal to be found; they still didn't know where Daenerys went with him, and from the last time she saw her, Daenerys seemed to have stood her ground against him, and perhaps with a miracle in her side, she managed to tame Cannibal, but even if that were the case, Rhaenys had sworn that she would tear that dragon apart. She and Morning would make sure that Cannibal could never hurt anyone else ever again, and her family had more than agreed with this decision. Her father had been furious. Cannibal was responsible for a village near King's Landing being burned to ash, responsible for Ghost and Kessa being injured, and he had burned Aemon.

Her father had declared that it mattered not if Daenerys had tamed Cannibal; he would have the dragon killed for attacking his son, but saying that and doing it was much more difficult. As much as Rhaenys hated to admit it, she knew deep down that Morning wasn't stronger than Cannibal; being able to breathe Wildfire already gave him an edge over all the other dragons. From what she had heard, Aemon's dragon, Aegarax, had been able to defeat him with a strange freezing fire, and as far as she had seen, her dragon had no special fire.

Since the incident, panic and fear had started growing over the population of King's Landing; from the reports, many people were afraid of the thought of Cannibal returning and burning everyone inside the city, and she couldn't blame them. The news of what happened to the village outside King's Landing had spread everywhere. But thankfully, her father had addressed the people of King's Landing and told them to rest easily, reminding them that two dragons guarded King's Landing and that they would never allow Cannibal to get close.

But on the one hand, this didn't calm them down much. People were afraid of Dragons. Everyone still knew the Dance of the Dragons had been the bloodiest war in Westeros, and now Cannibal had burned down an entire village. According to Varys, the people of King's Landing were growing fearful, and some even demanded the dragons be killed, all of them. Her father was sure the people would calm down once Cannibal was killed and the Dragon Pit was built.

Ghost refused to leave Aemon's side since the incident, and Kessa would often land on the balcony to see if Aemon was feeling better. The Northern Eagle's right leg had been broken by Cannibal when he had hit her with his head.

And now, a whole month had passed since Aemon's fight with Cannibal.

Rhaella was worried sick for her daughter, even shouting at Rhaenys, asking why she allowed her to leave like that, saying they should have just killed Cannibal right there and then and be done with him.

After a month passed and no one heard anything about Daenerys's whereabouts, they started fearing that Cannibal would do the same with Daenerys as Balerion had done with Princess Aerea Targaryen; it was said that one day while flying around Dragonstone. Balerion had changed direction for no reason, and the Princess and the Dragon had not been seen for a whole year until, one day, Balerion had returned to the Dragon Pit.

What exactly happened with the Princess wasn't really known. Still, from what is written by the Maester of the time, he described that the Princess's temperature was so high that it felt like the entire chamber was being cooked. The Maester had reported that he had seen something moving below her skin, and the Princess's suffering had ended after one whole day of pain and screaming, but that wasn't even the end. Balerion had returned with a huge gash on his chest, so large that many speculate that this gash was the real reason he died in 94 AC and didn't live as long as Vhagar.

But now, Rhaenys saw through the window as Cannibal appeared on the horizon; from its black scales like coal, she recognized him right away.

Morning, she thought as she ran out of the chamber, if the Dragon wanted to attack the city, she needed her dragon.

The Population of King's Landing was in panic. The people ran out of the streets and into the safety of their houses as Cannibal flew over them. Many soldiers with Bows started aiming at the dragon, but the scales and the speed of the arrows weren't fast or strong enough to harm the dragon.

As Cannibal rose higher, getting closer to the Red Keep, a roar made him turn his head, and Aegaerax took several steps before spreading his wings and taking flight.

Daenerys, on top of Cannibal, looked down at the city before finding the Ruins of the Dragon Pit. What was left of it since 'The Storming of the Dragon Pit.'

"Kesir (Here)," Daenerys ordered as her dragon spread his wings to slow down his fall before his talons slammed against the ground.

Before Daenerys, there was a wide oval-shaped arena with a set of staircases that went deep underground, where the dragons used to live. The staircases circled around the arena and ended where the gate used to be.

Daenerys watched as Aegarax circled around her from the sky, his eyes looking down at them with loathing before landing on the opposite side of the oval-shaped arena; despite his massive form, Dany wasn't afraid of him, but Cannibal tensed when the Ice Dragon revealed himself.

She knew they would have a lot of questions, and she wondered how Aemon was doing right now. Cannibal's flames touched him, and she could only hope that his resistance to fire was enough for him to survive.

Soon, Morning joined them; the Pink Dragon roared down at Cannibal's form before landing beside Aegarax, with Rhaenys on top of her dragon.

"Rhaenys, don't attack us. We are not here to cause any more harm." Daenerys shouted at her niece when she noticed Morning opening her mouth and red fire building inside her throat.

"'I can easily consume them and grow stronger, Princess. You should let me, only I can kill Shrykos when he comes back."' Cannibal growled in her mind, sounding angry, his voice deep and demanding, but Daenerys would never let him win over her mind again.

"'If you dare to touch my family ever again. I will burn myself with Wildfire. I know you won't like that."' Daenerys threatened him with the only leverage she had over him.

His death meant that she, too, would die because of their shared connection, but so would Cannibal if Daenerys were to die.

Daenerys still remembered what she told her about Cannibal and why he had never allowed anyone to bond with him before.

'Cannibal is the offspring of Shrykos. Unlike the other dragons, Shrykos, Aegaerax, and Cannibal are what they used to call 'Ancient Dragons.' They would grow more powerful than the other dragons and could live longer. Ancient Dragons are unlike normal dragons, they grew stronger like normal dragons do, their fire grows more powerful the older they get, but consuming other dragons allows them to live much longer and grow in size, and power, but the Ancient Dragons, for them is difficult to find a rider. I'm still not sure why Cannibal decided to bond with you. I'm sure he has the answer.'

'So, Aemon's dragon has done the same as Cannibal?' Daenerys questioned the silver-haired beauty.

'He has, that's one of his deepest regrets, but he had no other choice; he needed to stay alive. To make sure the passage of time wouldn't kill him, Aegaerax did what he did because he had no other choice. Shrykos wanted to become the most powerful creature in the world. It's ironic that he was defeated by a Stark with warging abilities.'

Daenerys didn't know who this Stark was, but the thought that someone could warg into a dragon and force them into submission was terrifying. Aegon and his sisters were lucky when they conquered Westeros. If a Stark was capable of doing that and lived during that time, Torrehn Stark wouldn't have been so quick to bend the knee.

'But the bond of an Ancient Dragons is different. When someone with Valyria blood bonds with an 'Ancient Dragon.' That bond will influence the dragon and the rider; their personalities are combined in a way that will allow the dragon to show signs of having traits like its rider, and the rider can develop traits the dragon has. And when an Ancient Dragon fully bonds with their chosen rider, they can talk with one another, the connection is not fully completed until the rider and the ancient dragon can talk in each other's minds. But a bond like this doesn't last long. The death of one, means the death of the other. One cannot exist without the other once the bond is made.' Daenerys breath hitched in her throat.

She had never thought that something like this was possible. If Aemon were to die, Aegarax would die with him, and the same for her and Cannibal. Then she remembered all the times she got angry, perhaps too angry since bonding with Cannibal, like the one time she insulted Val when they arrived in King's Landing, now, with a much clearer head. She realized that Cannibal had been using their bond to influence her, convince her to be more like him, and consume everything in their path. To grow stronger.

'How can I keep Cannibal away?' Daenerys suddenly shouted with fear, falling on her knees. She had never wanted this to happen. Aemon was hurt because of Cannibal, not just him. She had dreamed of being Cannibal when he had burned the village of innocent people, but she hadn't wanted to believe; a part of her had wanted to believe that all that had been a dream. But now, she realized that it was the truth. Cannibal had tried to convince her to attack her own family.

'You are already doing a good job at it, Princess.' The Silver-haired beauty told her with a beautiful smile before embracing Daenerys in her arms and humming at her ear.

'But Aemon got hurt because of him. People died because of him, and I felt almost nothing. Is already too late for me?' Daenerys choked weakly as she sobbed against the woman with silver hair.

'He did, and I'm afraid there's not much anyone can do to change what already has happened but trust me. Right now, you have more influence on him than he did on you the last time he tried to burn you. You stood your ground and showed your strong will. This made Cannibal submit to you for the first time since you bonded with one another. This is why you are crying right now. After months, all his influence is gone from you, and right now, he is the one on the losing side.' She reassured him, speaking gently against her ear.

Daenerys still wasn't sure how to feel about this. She wanted to go back to how she was before bonding with Cannibal. A part of her wished she had never bonded with him; perhaps Aemon wouldn't have gotten hurt, and the village with innocent people wouldn't have been burned to the ground.

'I'm afraid, what happened needed to happen, Princess. Shrykos will soon be free, and only you can defeat him this time.' Daenerys slowly pulled away from her. This woman had brought up this Shrykos, and from the way she was talking about him, it sounded like this dragon was a monster.

'Why can I defeat him? You said yourself that it was a Warg who won over his will last time, Artorias Stark. Can't Aemon do the same? He's a Warg, perhaps he can do the same that Artorias did.' Daenerys said hopefully, she wasn't afraid of this Shrykos, but the idea of flying with Cannibal again. She didn't want that. What if Cannibal got hold of her again, and she wasn't strong enough this time? What if she decided to burn down everyone because of his influence? No, she never wanted to hurt anyone. Aemon, Ghost, Kessa, and the villagers. She had never wanted them to get hurt.

'Princess, Aemon is not powerful enough to defeat Shrykos with just his warging, and even if he was, Aemon would no longer be himself after everything is said and done. His own son killed Artorias after he won over Shrykos because he butchered anyone who was on his way, including his own direwolf. Why you can defeat Shrykos is because his scales are made of Valyrian steel, nothing can harm him, all except Wildfire. Wildfire can damage Shrykos, and Cannibal is the only dragon capable of breathing Wildfire.' She said, and Daenerys hanged down her head in defeat.

She would need to ride with Cannibal again, not just that, but be there when the war starts, but was there really no other way. 'You said that Shrykos is much more powerful than Cannibal. How can we kill him?'

'That is true my dear, but as I said, Wildfire can damage Shykos. Once you return to King's Landing, ask your brother Rhaegar what is underneath King's Landing. Remember what I told you, Cannibal's anger is towards Shrykos, use that anger in your advantage to cooperate, to find a middle ground. You two need to be in the same mind to win over Shrykos.'

'But what if I'm not strong enough to do that. Cannibal took over me once. What if he does it again? What if I harm my own family?' Daenerys asked, her voice cracking as she spoke.

'You are stronger than him, Princess. There's a reason why he submitted to you. Right now, he is afraid of you. You must never let him take the upper hand. We will talk again, remember what I told you. Only you can defeat Shrykos. Once he is defeated. The Night King, and his army will no longer have their biggest weapon. Only then can they be defeated for good.'

Daenerys watched as she walked away, and everything faded into white...'

Daenerys climbed down her dragon's neck and quickly ran downstairs, reaching the arena where the first floor of the Dragon Pit used to be, before running up to Rhaenys, but she wasn't dismounting her dragon as she glared at Cannibal.

"Rhaenys, do not attack." Daenerys shouted when Morning growled in anger, spreading her wings.

"Dany, this monster harmed Aemon. I will kill him." Rhaenys promised with rage in her voice, ready to order Morning to attack Cannibal. Aegarax was with her; she knew they could kill him together.

"Rhaenys, stop if he dies. I will die with him." This caused Rhaenys to gasp as she looked down at her aunt in disbelief.

"That's...that's not possible. It has never happened before." She shouted, not wanting to believe what her aunt was saying; if that was true, how were they supposed to get rid of Cannibal?

"Rhaenys. I will explain everything in the Red Keep, just don't fight right now." Daenerys shouted from where she was, looking up at her niece, she looked conflicted, and the way her fingers curled around the Morning's scales.

Rhaenys took a deep breath to calm herself before letting out a resigned sigh. "Very well. But how do I know Cannibal won't bathe King's Landing in flames?" She asked, knowing the population of King's Landing was terrified of Cannibal.

"If he tries anything. I will throw myself from the tower of the Hand of the King. If I die, so does he." Rhaenys's eyes widened in shock. This went against anything she had known about dragons; as far as she knew, this had never been a thing before, but from the way Cannibal growled, it seemed he wasn't happy that this was the case. But Rhaenys still didn't trust him; she remembered what he had done to Aemon and what he had done to the village. He could never be trusted.

"Dany, are you sure we can leave him?" Another roar was heard the moment she said that, but this one wasn't from Aegaerax. The Ice Dragon and Cannibal looked upwards, and flying over them was...Silverwing.

"Is that...is that Aegon!!" Rhaenys shouted with disbelief, squinting her eyes as she looked upwards. She could see someone riding the silver dragon, and with a second look, she recognized which dragon this one was.

"That's Silverwing! I thought she died years ago after the Dance!!" Daenerys said, astonished; the dragon looked down at them, mainly at Cannibal, before roaring at him. Cannibal roared back in a challenging way, and the way he spread his wings, and growled in anger.

"Cannibal, Nyke ordering ao. Gaomagon daor dīnagon. (Cannibal, I'm ordering you. Do not move.)" Daenerys ordered at him with a demanding voice. The green eyes of the Dragon looked back at her as if challenging her, but Daenerys did not back down; she knew one small moment of weakness, and she could lose herself again. No, she needed to not back down. Not now, not ever again.

Cannibal let out a breath from his nose before looking away, closing his wings around his body, and lowering his head, making it clear he wasn't attacking anyone.

Suddenly, the ground shook, and Silverwing landed near Morning. The pink and silver dragons looked at one another for a brief moment before looking at their respective riders.

"Aegon, since when do you have a Dragon?!" Rhaenys shouted with a growing smile as she climbed down off her dragon, running up to her brother, who did the same. The two shared a hug while Aegarax kept his eyes on Cannibal all the time.

"'What is your game now, you disgusting worm?"' Aegarax growled in Cannibal's mind, but the latter chuckled.

"'Such hatred. Why not attack me? You are at an advantage right now; your ice breath messed me up, and don't forget I burned that little boy on your back. Is he still alive? Is he screaming in pain. I wish I could hear his screams. You know it doesn't matter. I know my flames left a scar, they always do, the scars will be there to remind him of my power. Every time he stares at himself, he will think of ME." Aegarax roared in rage before letting out an ice breath; ice spikes grew around Cannibal, one almost piercing his only left eye.

'"...Coward."'

"'Aemon is not here to command me. But burn one more human, and I will tear your neck; I don't care if the Princess dies with you... a suitable scar. I never thought you would lose an eye to an eagle; what did you call her, oh right, 'Insect,' yet that same insect blinded your left eye."' Cannibal growled in anger, spreading his wings, ready to attack, when Morning and Silverwing roared at him, reminding him that he wasn't alone.

"'One day. I shall be stronger than all of you. Shrykos himself will bow down to me."' Cannibal growled in anger.

"'Shrykos has been gone for eight thousand years, Cannibal, or should I call you Black—" "Do Not Call Me THAT. That name is not MINE." Cannibal warned him, and Aegarax decided that was enough.

"'The humans are going to that Red Castle, I will stay here with you."' Aegarax reminded him as he watched the humans walk away.

The Red Keep

"Dany!!" Rhaella ran up to her daughter, and the two embraced each other. The old queen cried as she hugged her daughter like never before, and Dany did the same, kissing her mother's cheek.

"I'm alright, Muna. I'm so sorry for everything." Dany sobbed as she hugged her mother tightly, not wanting to let go.

"Hey, you are here now. That's all that matters," her Muna said smoothly, caressing her daughter's back before pulling away.

She looked at Aegon, who was speaking with Lady Margaery further away, and Rhaenys, staring at the Dragon Pit with a look of loathing in her eyes.

Rhaella really wished to send Dany to her chamber, give her time to rest, and then talk with Rhaegar, but she knew her son had been quite tense and on edge since his son was brought to him with a burn mark on his back.

"Aegon, Rhaenys, and Dany. Rhaegar wants to speak with all of you. Now." She ordered with her 'Queen's Voice' before grabbing her daughter's wrist and walking her inside the Red Keep.

"How is Aemon? Is he feeling better? What about Val? How is her pregnancy going?" Rhaella wondered why there was a sudden interest in Val. From what she remembered, Dany didn't seem to want to be Val's friend like Rhaenys already was.

"Aemon—" She found it difficult to say it; she knew her daughter fancied Aemon and for her dragon to be responsible for his wound. "He's better. The Maester says he will get better soon; you can talk to him after talking with Rhaegar." Rhaella said tenderly as she walked them to the throne room.

Upon entering, Viserys ran up to Dany. "Dany, are you alright?" He asked with concern as he looked at her from close, trying to see if there was any visible wound.

"I'm fine," Dany answered in a quiet voice. Viserys kissed her forehead before moving out of her way as she walked up to The Throne Room, where her brother was sitting. The Room was almost empty. She knew her brother had ordered everyone else to leave the hall when she would arrive so they could talk alone. The only ones present who weren't part of the family were the Kingsguards.

"Dany!" Elia and Rhaegar hugged her, both relieved to see that Dany wasn't harmed in any way, but her brother pulled away, giving her a look that said for her to explain everything that happened and why she went with Cannibal.

When Rhaegar had been told that Daenerys had willingly gone with Cannibal, he had been furious; he couldn't understand why his daughter did not command Morning to tear the dragon's neck for daring to attack Aemon. Rhaegar had felt helpless when he had seen his son brought into his chamber with a burn mark on his back. He could do nothing but watch his son, the son whose fifteen years he had missed, the same son, now seeing him on death's doorstep.

Rhaegar refused to leave his side until he woke up, which took a whole week; Elia ruled in his stead until their second son woke up.

Aemon had been badly injured, and learning that Cannibal had caused that, he had ordered the Dragon to be killed. He didn't care how it happened; he would have the dragon killed for attacking his family, even if his sigil was a dragon. This one had done something he should have never done, and now. He was informed that the same dragon was in the Dragon Pit and was still alive.

"Dany, what happened? Why do you go with Cannibal? I want to know everything." Rhaegar demanded.

' Daenerys could see the people, all running in fear, but she showed no mercy. Why would she? She was a Dragon. They were worms.

"PLEASE, PLEASE. SOMEONE HELP US!!" She raised her wing and stumped down on her; she watched her broken body, blood trailing down her wing. She could see many of them running towards her, holding sharp weapons, but with a single breath of fire. Their bodies were ash in the wind. She let out a roar into the darkness and took the skies, they were running away, but she showed no mercy as she breathed fire into them; their screams of pain echoed into the night...

Wait...Wait...This is Wrong...NOOO. WHAT AM I Doing?!

Daenerys woke up with a gasp. She looked around frantically, and she was back in her chamber, her heart trying to burst out of her chest.

PLEASE HELP US...

Daenerys closed her ears with her hands. 'It was a dream. A DREAM. A DREAM.' She repeated over and over, her eyes hurting from how hard she was closing them.

A dream...a dream... she repeated until finally, she opened her eyes. She looked at the pitcher on the table and quickly filled a glass of water for herself.

After drinking two cups of water, she felt better. The sunlight of the morning poured inside through the window. She looked back at the bed, pondering if she should try to sleep again.

PLEASE HELP US...

Flinching as if she was struck. She decided to spend time with Rhaenys. She reminded herself that her niece wanted to marry Aemon and become his second wife. Lucky you, Dany thought, feeling slightly envious as she walked out of her chamber.

Her day was spent with Rhaenys, Val, Margaery, and a few of her ladies in waiting, yet, as much as Dany tried, she couldn't get rid of the image in her head. The image of people burning, their pleas for mercy, she told herself, was all a dream. It hadn't happened when Rhaenys said something that made her body go cold like ice.

"I heard from a golden cloak there was a fire last night in one of the villages near King's Landing." Daenerys felt herself go stiff like ice, and a lump formed in her throat; her purple eyes looked at her niece, wishing someone would tell her the Golden Cloak was wrong.

"I heard the same from my brother. A Big Fire. My brother will ride there to see what happened. I heard the fire was so bright that people could see it even from King's Landing despite the wall obscuring their vision." Margaery added with a deep frown at the thought of what could have happened to the poor people of that village.

Daenerys's eyes fell down to the cup of tea her shaking hands were holding, her eyes looking at the darkness of the tea, when she saw them again—running away, begging for mercy. "PLEASEE HELP..."

"DANY!!"

Daenerys blinked in shock, looking down still. The cup shattered on the floor near her feet, and the dark tea spread like a river. She blinked again and looked up at her niece when she noticed she was getting weird looks from all the ladies sitting around the table.

"Dany, are you alright?" Rhaenys asked again, and Dany felt a sudden rush of shame in herself.

"Please forgive me. I have to leave." Not wanting to see them make fun of her, she ran out of the balcony in a hurry as she walked away. She heard a voice in her head.

'BURN THEM. THEY ARE NOTHING TO YOU. THEY ARE NOTHING TO US.'

Daenerys ran to the one place in the Red Keep where she could be alone. She slammed the door open and entered God's Wood. She wasn't a believer in the Old Gods; she had never been a believer in anything, but she knew people tended to avoid this place, and she knew she could stay here as long as she wanted, and no one would hear her.

"What is happening to me? Am I Going Mad?" She sobbed and fell on her knees in front of the face carved into the Weirwood Tree. She didn't want to become like her father. She wasn't like him. She loved her family, and they all loved her back. She knew that.

Do they really love you? A voice spoke in her ear, and she closed her ears, breathing heavily. This was all in her head. This. WAS. NOT. REAL.........

"Dany." She whirled around in fear, but a woman she had never seen before stood before her. For a brief moment, she wondered if she was staring at her Muna, but with a second look, she felt foolish for thinking that the woman before her was much younger and much prettier than her Muna. Now that she was looking at her from up close, she realized this woman was breathtaking.

"...Who are you?" She found her voice and spoke, but her voice came out hoarse and weak.

"My name is Shiera Seastar, young Princess," the beautiful silver-haired woman said with a pretty smile.

"But...but shouldn't you be dead, and how are you still so young and..." "Beautiful." Shiera finished for her with a tilt of her head and a playful smile on her face.

"There are ways for people with magic to live long, young Princess. But that's not important right now. I'm here to warn you."

"Warn me?"

"Yes, Cannibal has too much influence on you. I want you to come where am I, and I will explain everything you need to know about your future, and I can help you."  Shiera said as she sat down next to Daenerys.

The Targaryen Princess looked away from her mismatched eyes and down at her hands. "Did it really happen? Did Cannibal burn that village?" she questioned, but a part of her already knew the answer.

"I'm afraid he did, but if you don't gain back control, you will fall. And if that happens, killing you will be a mercy." Shiera said with a calming voice as she caressed Daenerys's shoulder, trying to calm her down.

"I never wanted any of this to happen. I—I just wanted to fly like our House has done before the Dance. I just wanted to have a dragon of my own. I never wanted them to die." She sobbed, hiding her face.

"I know that, but sometimes, bad things happen, and we can do nothing about it. The past is written. Remember, you are the blood of the Dragon. You are the one in control, not Cannibal. You will do great things." Daenerys wiped away the tears before looking at Shiera once again.

"What should I do?" '

Daenerys explained how she climbed on Cannibal based on Shiera's instruction and flew all the way to Volantis to meet her in the Red Temple. Shiera helped her to control her dragon better, but Dany decided to keep the Blood Ritual a secret. She didn't want to see what they would think of her if she told them what she needed to do to strengthen her bond and make it more difficult for Cannibal to influence her again.

Her family fell silent and looked defeated when her brother shook his head in denial. "If he dies, so do you...This is not right..." "Rhaegar." "I have read countless scrolls about dragons. I know everything about them. There has never been a case of the rider dying after the dragon's death." Rhaegar said, his voice growing with each word he spat, shaking his head; he refused to believe that what should have been a boom for House Targaryen had turned into a curse.

"We cannot risk it, Rhaegar, what if—" "HE BURNED MY SON. THAT MONSTER BURNED HIM." Rhaegar roared angrily at his family, his purple eyes almost glittering with rage when he saw them all looking shocked by his outburst.

"...I'm...I'm sorry." Rhaegar apologized, looking away from his family; he looked back at the Iron Throne when he felt Elia's hand on his shoulder.

"She's your sister, she is one of us. I'm sure we can find a way to make sure he never does something like that again." Elia spoke smoothly, kissing his cheek tenderly.

Rhaegar could think of only one way. "I don't want him here." He mumbled under his breath before turning to face Daenerys. "Cannibal will not stay here one more minute. The people of my city are terrified of him, and if I cannot bring justice for what happened to that village. I will make sure he never shows his face here again. Dany. I don't want Cannibal here. If he should be kept alive, then I want him back at Dragonstone. Away from this city." Rhaegar ordered with a final voice. He wouldn't change his mind, not on this one. That dragon had brought fear to his people. He had promised himself that his people would never have to fear the Royal Family, they would never have to fear another Mad King, but this dragon had put the fear of death in all of them.

Dany didn't blame her brother; she knew she could still stay with her family in Dragonstone. Aemon, Rhaenys, and Val could start living there after the wedding. But there was one more thing that needed to be said.

"Brother, what is hidden beneath King's Landing?" Daenerys asked, and her brother froze; she noticed the Kingsguards present flinching as if someone had just slapped them in the face.

Her brother's face went a little white as he asked. "Why do you want to know that?"

Aemon Targaryen

' "Aemon." He blinked his eyes open. He expected to find himself back at the castle, but instead, he was surrounded by darkness; he could feel the cold ground underneath him, but before he could call out to anyone, he recognized the voice; as he turned around, Bloodraven lay on the same place.

"Brynden Rivers, why did you call me?" Aemon questioned as he stood up and looked around. He was back at the cave under the Giant Weirwood Tree; this was the second time he had called him.

"Dear Nephew. The time has come to show you the truth." His red eye glittered as he spoke with a hoarse voice.

"The Truth?" Aemon questioned, a little puzzled about what he meant.

"Yes. Remember when I told you that if you were raised with your family you would never have brought back the dragons."

"Yes...Why?" Aemon asked, feeling he wouldn't like what he would see this time.

"Let me paint you the full picture, my boy. If you were raised with your family. You would be loved. But, House Targaryen would be destroyed."

Aemon felt a sudden sharp pain in his chest. "Destroyed? How?"

"Targaryens without dragons are just like everyone else. A War would have happened on your fifth name day. Your father would be poisoned. Elia Martell would have died in her chamber from three bolts in her stomach. The Mountain would have kill led Aegon, his head crushed. You would try to take revenge, but you would be overwhelmed and killed. Your sister would die from grief. Your aunt would be killed in her sleep, and your uncle would have drown himself. All gone. I want you to remember this before we take this last journey together in the past." His great Uncle warned him, and Aemon felt the sharp pain in his chest again. The thought of them dying.

"You said a war would have happened. Why did my arrival change that?"

Chapter 83 (From You, 8000 Years Later)

Note: As shown in the previous chapters, the Wall was built on top of Shrkyos's body in hopes that he would never wake up after Artorias Stark managed to use his Warging to make him fall asleep. If the Wall falls, Shrykos will be awakened and will serve the Night King once again. Why he would serve the Night King will be explained later.

Ancient Dragons can only bond with those with Valyrian Blood and a lot of Magic in their Blood. Only Daenerys, Aemon, and Rhaegar are currently Fire Resistance.

Dope chapter! I love the roster of dragons in this story, every new one builds inticipation for the final war. Can't wait to read how it all unfolds. Keep up the good work!
