Chapter 2 (A Veela and A Wizard)

Thank you all for Supporting me and reading my Stories. Leave a Like if you enjoyed the Chapter.

Fleur watched in fascination as the tip of Harry's wand glowed brightly. White mist swirled around the tip, and for a moment, the glow dimmed before it became blindingly bright.

"Expecto Patronum." Fleur heard Harry speak in a loud, clear voice and looked up at his face. She was astonished to find tears falling down his cheeks, and his eyes were squeezed tightly.

Fleur tried to speak but stopped and watched in amazement. The glow at the tip of his wand brightened, and out of the end of his wand burst, not a shapeless cloud of mist but a blinding, dazzling, silver animal.

Fleur watched in awe as a majestic silver stag took form and ran around them. The corporeal stag was almost solid, and Fleur would swear to her last days that she had heard the sound of its hooves striking the ground as it ran in the forest.

"Sweet Morgana..." she muttered, feeling the air charge with positive emotions and happiness. She felt the cold banish away and be replaced by warmth. A smile formed on her face as she felt the happiness radiate from the stag.

She could not believe it, but she found something else that made Harry special. It was not just his voice; he was a kind boy and quite a talented wizard.

"Good to see you again, Prongs." Harry said, caressing the stag's head. He looked into the stag's eyes; the stag looked back at him almost with recognition. Harry smiled wholeheartedly, always feeling good about using the Patronus charm just so he could meet him.

Harry looked back and saw that Fleur was rooted in place. She looked at him with awe in her beautiful blue eyes.

"Come closer Fleur, say Hello to him." Harry prompted, extending his hand towards Fleur.

The Veela escaped her thoughts and looked at Harry and the stag. She had seen many Patronus before; her mother's patronus was an eagle, and she had told Fleur that her Patronus would most likely be an eagle like hers. She had been sure that her mother's Patronus was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, but she had to admit that right now. Looking at Arry's Patronus, the stag was mesmerizing.

"Oui." She approached slowly, afraid the stag would be frightened by her, but the stag didn't show fear. Instead, she almost saw recognition in its eyes.

"He's Beau!!" Fleur said with delight as she looked at it from up close. She decided standing behind Arry was close enough for her, but she was caught off guard when Arry gently grabbed her wrist and slowly placed it on the stag's head. She could feel the softness of his head and the warmth as if he were a real stag, but in a way, he was, even if he was made of magic.

"I hought 'e wouldn't ike me!" Fleur said, still a little baffled, as she caressed the stag's head, and the stag did something she didn't know Patronus could do. He pushed his head deeper into her palm, and she could feel more of his warmth.

"Prongs likes everyone, Fleur. Isn't that right?" Harry said playfully, joining her and caressing the silver stag. Unfortunately, as much as she wanted to play with him for a bit longer, Harry had to stop the Patronus charm after ten minutes, and Fleur watched as the stag raised his head as they backed away from him.

The silver Stag let out a loud whistle into the air before running away; he jumped, and glittering silver dust followed him as his feet landed on empty air for a brief moment as if it was a solid surface, and the silver stag jumped higher.

Fleur watched, mesmerized, as the stag's silver hoof prints remained in the air for a few seconds before fading away. Prongs kept jumping in mid-air around them before jumping right at Harry's wand. She watched as the creature was sucked into the wand tip, glowing silver, and once he disappeared, the glow vanished along with him.

Fleur could not remember seeing something as beautiful as this; she had seen various ways of the Patronus charm fading away after it was used, but she had never seen something like this, and looking back at Arry, she knew he had been the one to make the stag jump in mid-air like that, and for the first time, Fleur was left with her mouth open.

Who could imagine that he could impress her like this? Suddenly, Fleur felt even more guilty that she had said all that to him. He had done nothing to her, and she had judged him without proof and only thinking he was like everyone else.

"That 'as merveilleuse." She exclaimed and quickly closed her mouth when she realized she had shouted at him. She turned red from embarrassment, and Arry chuckled cutely at her. His face brightened up, and Fluer found his face adorable and quite handsome.

"Hmm, so singing is not my only good trait." Arry teased her with a charming smile, and Fleur giggled, remembering when she told him she would like to know what else made him special.

"Definitely not, ou are full of des surprises." Fleur said with a bright smile. Arry's face turned bright red, and she found herself giggling at his expression; it was adorable, but then she remembered something that she wanted to know.

"Arry, why did you call him Prongs?" Fleur asked curiously; she had never heard of anyone before naming their Patronus. Arry was the first for that, too; it seemed the Boy Who Lived was the first on many things for Fleur.

"Oh, Well, I named him after my father," Harry explained, quickly noticing the puzzled expression on her face.

"Isn't 'is nom James Potter?" Fleur asked, tilting her head to the side.

"That's his name, but my father and three of his friends during the Hogwarts years. They had Animagus forms, and my father's nickname when he was a stag was 'Prongs' and since my Patronus is a stag like my father, I named him after him." Harry explained, and Fleur smiled ruefully.

"Your 'ather sounds like a great wizard," Fleur said with a comforting voice, reaching up to touch his shoulder. Everyone who has heard of The Boy Who Lived knows that both of his parents are dead, and Fleur doesn't know what else to say to make him feel better; her parents are alive and well, and she has an annoying-adorable sister. She didn't know what it felt like, but she still hoped her words would make him feel better.

"Yeah, he was," Harry mumbled under his breath, and knowing the conversation had gotten a little gloomy, he decided to change the subject. There was no point in crying over what happened many years ago, and he wanted Fleur to have a good time rather than talk about dark pasts. Harry was sure his parents would have wanted him to focus on his own future and be happy rather than mull over their deaths.

"Fleur, you said that you cannot make a Patronus? If you want I can help you." Harry quickly proposed with a cheerful voice, and all the gloomy feeling in the air evaporated as the beautiful Veela smiled back at him, showing her white teeth.

"Really! That would be merveilleuse," Fleur said, with her hands together. She looked at him with her best pleading eye, and Harry didn't turn foggy. Instead, he brushed off her allure as if it were a fly; he looked more amused than anything.

"Yes. I can help you, Professor Lupin taught me last year, and if I can learn it, so can you." Harry said with optimism.

"Arry, why did your Professeur teach zou the Patronus Charm? In Beauxbatons, ze don't leazn it until f--fifth year." Fleur asked curiously, thinking this was just a case of a school doing things differently than another school. After all, she had heard that in Russian, they were taught how to perform the 'Skull Crusher' spell in the third year; it was quite a deadly spell, and in many places, it was listed as a 'Dark Spell' and was forbidden to be used, only used by Aurors.

"In the third year, this prisoner from Azkaban..." Harry went on and explained most of what happened in the third year but completely left out the fact that he and Hermione had helped Sirius escape. He told her that Dementors had attacked him and Sirius and that had been the first time he used his Patronus Charm.

After he was done retelling what happened in the third year, Fleur looked at him as if he had gone mad. "Ils ont mis les Détraqueurs dans une école ! Votre ministre a-t-il perdu la tête??" She exclaimed with disbelief that much was clear in her tone, but Harry had no idea what she had just said.

"Say what?" Harry asked, puzzled, and Fleur took a deep breath to calm herself.

"Dementors in a École, zhy didn't ze call for Auros to guard the École...school?" She asked with a little difficulty. When she was highly emotional, she switched back to unconsciously French, even if the person listening to her didn't understand French.

"Well, our Minister, in all his infinite wisdom, thought that Dementors around a school for children was a better way to catch a criminal; in his own words, 'Dementors can make any wizard freeze in fear. Someone with a dark spirit like Sirius Black has no way of defending himself against them. And Aurors are a valuable part of the Ministry, so we made the smart decision to send Dementors instead.' " Harry explained, even mimicking the Minister's voice, trying to get a laugh, but this time, Fleur didn't seem to be in the mood to laugh; instead, she shook her head and murmured something French under her breath. He didn't know what it was, but it sounded like a curse to him.

"So, how about we start on your training?" Harry asked, trying to change the subject, and Fleur quickly nodded. She figured there was no point in getting angry with a moron like this Minister, but she still couldn't fathom how that decision was ever approved, even if the Minister was a moron; what about everyone else in the Ministry. Were they all morons?

But again, she quickly stopped thinking about the stupid Minister and focused on Arry as he pulled out his wand and told her to do the same.

"Now, while thinking of a happy memory it's important to use the Patronus Charm. For me it's easier when I try to think of the reason why I want to use the spell, and think of my own Patronus. When I used the charm the first time here with you, I thought of my happiest memories and thought of Prongus himself. I wanted him to meet you, so think of that before using the charm." Harry explained with a charming smile, and Fleur listened to his every word.

This was new to her. Her mother always told her to always only focus on her happy memories. She closed her eyes and thought of her happiest memory.

Fleur's heart swelled with joy when she caught sight of her parents. They have come to watch her dance.

Her sister calling her by her name for the first time.

Her parents telling her they were proud of her after she got the best Grades in the entire school...

"Expecto Patronum!" Fleur exclaimed, and the tip of her wand glowed silver. The entire forest around them turned white by the glow, and she kept pumping as much magic as she could into this spell, but the eagle never came. Instead, the silver glow slowly faded away, but there was no Patronus anywhere; the glow disappeared, leaving behind a disappointed Fleur.

She looked down at her feet, her fingers curling tightly around the wand, wondering if there was anything wrong with her. She knew it wasn't because of her Veela heritage. Her mother was Half Veela, and one of the teachers who demonstrated the Patronus charm back at Bexaubatons was a quarter Veela like Fleur.

She cursed under her breath when she felt Arry's hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. They had never had close contact like this, and usually, she would get angry, especially now after failing, but instead, she felt his touch quite comforting, even if she was still angry that she had failed.

"Fleur, it took me almost a whole year to use this Charm, and I used it only when I was in a life-or-death situation. Trust me, you will get it right." Fleur nodded along and gave him a forced smile, but she didn't want to get angry with him; it wasn't his fault. And on the bright side, she had already done more in this attempt than she had ever done before.

After hours of practicing together, Fleur was still unable to perform the Patronus Charm. Harry reassured her that her charm was already powerful enough to scare away Dementors if she ever found herself facing one or two of them. Fleur wished that was never the case; Dementors made her skin crawl.

"Zhank you for zour help, Arry. Not just zour 'elp. I zenjoyed the time with you." Fleur said with an alluring smile as they walked out of the Forbidden Forest instead of following the cobbled road that leads to Hogwarts in the distance. The two decided to take a longer route, walking through the many mounds and rivers with wooden bridges.

"Anytime you want, Fleur. I enjoyed our time together, and maybe we can fly with broomsticks tomorrow. I can show you all the good spots around Hogwarts." Harry said with expectations in his eyes, sounding excited. He didn't know why, but it felt good to be near her, and the way she smiled at him, the way she would say his name, it all made him smile like an idiot; he was sure if Sirius was here right now, he would laugh out loud, before making a joke about his goofy smile.

"I zould likz that, Arry Potter, but I think we should return. Madame Maxime will not be happy with me if I stay here any longer," Fleur said reluctantly, and Harry's face fell. He looked a little crestfallen but quickly hid it with a smile.

"Oh, no problem. I will see you tomorrow then," Harry said, trying to hide his disappointment with a smile that she knew wasn't sincere. She would never allow this day to end on a sad note like this; she had a good time with him despite failing to use the Patronus Charm. She enjoyed her time and didn't want Harry to feel like he failed her.

"I cannot wait," she said with an alluring smile and leaned forward. Her beautiful red lips kissed his cheek before she leaned away.

Harry's face turned bright red, and a little of her red lipstick was left on his cheek. Fleur found it difficult not to giggle at his dumbfounded face, but he somehow managed to escape his stupor.

"That was...WOW." Harry said, feeling amazing, flustered, unable to come up with anything else to say. He was still feeling her lips against his cheek, the heat and the softness of them, and this time, Fleur giggled at his expression; it was quite adorable, and she had to admit, she liked kissing his cheek. She wondered briefly what it would be like to kiss something else, but she quickly snuffled such a thought. This was yet too soon.

"So, are we still going out with broomsticks?" Harry asked a little nervously, and his face brightened up when Fleur smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

Their walk back inside Hogwarts was spent with them talking about Fleur's first visit to Germany. Apparently, she had visited the Magical School of Germany when she had been selected to go because of her grades during her fifth year. She told him about their Wizarding School named Magische Berührung, a little about the people there, and about Rottesur. This magical animal could only be found in the territory of Germany.

As they reached the carriage, they stopped before the door that led inside; Fleur turned to talk with him before walking inside when he grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles. "Have a Good Day, Manquer Fleur." Harry said with the same charming smile and winking at her, his emerald eyes glowing, making her shudder from their intensity.

Fleur hummed pleasantly at him. She had never expected to see this side of Harry, and right now, she was glad she did. "Zank You, Monsieur Potter." She said with an alluring smile, but the smile faded away when she noticed Madame Maxime making her way over to her and from her face. She knew she was angry with her.

"Fleur, where have you been? And why are you with the cheater of Hogwarts?" At the very least, she spoke in French, but Fleur still felt her blood boil as Harry stood beside her as if he wanted to protect her.

Why did it matter to her where she had been? She could go anywhere she wanted and spend her time with whoever she wanted.

"Madame Maxime, I-" "I don't want to hear it, Miss Delacour. You are already at the bottom. You have shamed Bexaubatons, and now you are spending time with the cheater of Hogwarts. Inside." Madame Maxime ordered harshly, and Fleur noticed the way Harry was glaring at the tall woman. He couldn't understand what was said but knew it wasn't good based on Fleur's expression.

"Arry, it's okay. Just go inside." She said, pleading for him to go; the last thing she needed was for him to stand up for her, and that's exactly what he did as he stepped forward, puffing out his chest.

"Madame Maxime, I think you should be more respectful towards Fleur." Harry said earnestly, looking up at the tall woman; he felt like he was staring at a female version of Hagrid, but this one was insufferable.

"No one asked you, 'The Boy Who Cheats.'" She called him with a smug face, thinking that would be it, but she seemed to have underestimated who Harry Potter was.

"And I think you should have more respect towards your students, Madame. This Tournament was made to inspire cooperation amongst schools, not more rivalry. Fleur did excellent in the first task; she already surpassed everyone else before this Tournament. Did you forget why the Tournament was canceled in the first place?" Fleur was secretly glad that he was standing up for her, but she knew this wouldn't fix anything; her headmistress wasn't one to listen to reason when her head was dead set on something, and no one could change her mind if she thought that this Tournament was only to win, then that's all she would see it as.

"The Previous Tournaments were more dangerous, Mister Potter, or did you not listen to Dumbledore." Madame Maxime quickly debunked back at the boy, feeling irritated with a kid who obviously cheated.

"You are right, because facing a Dragon is a walk in the park, isn't it Madame Maxime, tell me, how many hundreds of dragons you have defeated?" Harry countered back with sarcasm seeping from his voice, and the tall woman turned red in the face.

Fleur was a little impressed that he managed to make her lost for words, and then Madame Maxime turned to face Fleur, quite obviously glaring at her. "INSIDE." She ordered with a scream, and Fleur mouthed a 'Thank you' at Harry before walking inside the carriage, knowing her headmistress would yell at her the moment they walked inside.

One Week Later

"I hate that woman. Why is she so against Fleur talking with me, is not like I'm trying to sabotage her." Harry growled angrily under his breath as he sat beside Hermione in the Main Hall of Hogwarts.

"Harry, don't try to do anything stupid. If you get in trouble with her, it will mean bad for Fleur too, not just for you." Hermione quickly reminded him, trying to calm him down, but he wasn't in the mood to calm down.

A whole week had passed, and Fleur had suddenly gotten very busy with her training, and that didn't leave enough time for the two of them to meet again.

He had tried, of course, but a friend of Fleur named 'Aloriana' told him to keep his distance for a few days, saying that she had never seen Madame Maxime as angry as she was a week ago. Her shouts were heard throughout the entire carriage. The words 'Useless,' 'Disappointment,' and 'I can do whatever I want' were thrown around quite often by both parties.

Harry had tried to send her a letter with Hedwig, but his white owl always returned back with the letter on his leg, making it obvious that she couldn't reach Fleur, and after five failed attempts. Harry had given up and had no longer tried to use Hedwig. He had thought of using his invisibility cloak to meet her, but Hermione had stopped him, saying that he needed to wait at least a few days, with the excuse that if he was caught, the situation would get much worse for the two of them.

Harry had waited, and today, he decided he was no longer in the mood for waiting. He wanted to apologize, too. He should have probably kept his mouth shut. Perhaps the woman wouldn't have been as angry if he had just not said anything to anger her.

Harry was ready to leave the hall and made it halfway to the door when Aloriana walked up to him. "She's waiting for you in your secret spot." She spoke hushedly, walking past him in haste, making it seem like she bumped into him.

It didn't take long for him to find his invisibility cloak in the Gryffindor Tower.

Dodging students here and there, Harry made his way out of Hogwarts.

He walked back to his favorite spot by the Great Lake. As he took the small jump and landed on the shore, his eyes found Fleur sitting in the same position as him.

"Fleur!" Harry gasped, and the Veela quickly turned in his direction. However, her eyes didn't focus on him; instead, they looked around, searching.

"Zho's tzere?"

Harry remembered that he was still wearing the invisibility cloak and quickly pulled it away, revealing himself to her.

"...Arry!" she shouted, a little startled, before running towards him. He had expected her to slap him, but instead, he felt her arms around him. She was hugging him.

"I'm sorry, Fleur." Harry apologized, knowing he had made things worse by opening his big mouth and talking instead of listening to Fleur and just walking away.

"It'z okay, Arry, Madamxe Maxime is always harsh zith with zs All." Fleur said a little dismissively as she pulled away.

Harry couldn't help but feel like shit; from what he heard, it sounded like she was to Snape in some ways. "Is there anything I can do to make it better?" He asked a little fearfully that she would say that it would be better if they stopped meeting each other, but instead, Fleur smiled at him, a predatory look in her eyes as she moved her head, her silver hair now descending beautifully behind her back like a silver carpet.

"Zou still owe me a ride with zour broomstick." Harry once again smiled like an idiot, feeling his heart beating faster, especially when Fleur giggled and kissed his cheek, a kiss that made him want to know what it would be like to kiss her lips instead, but he quickly snuffled such a thought. Fleur had no reason to see him as anything but a Hogwarts Student and a fellow Champion. Right?

"Gladly."

Harry and Fleur, wearing the Invisibility cloak, made their way to Hogwarts Ground and then to the Gryffindor Tower.

Thankfully, the common room was mostly empty since almost all the students were in the Central Hall of Hogwarts or outside at this time of day.

"Quite Beau," Fleur commented when she entered the Gryffindor common room. "Not quite as Beauxabatons, of course." She quickly added with a playful smile, and Harry chuckled in amusement.

"You still haven't seen Hogwarts during the winter. You will see how beautiful it can be." Harry teased her.

"Beauxbatons is like a royal zalace, Arry. One day, zou will zee it yourself, and you will fall in love with Beauxbatons at first sight." Fleur said even more playfully. She enjoyed the way Harry was chuckling at her words, but she didn't notice the big impact her choice of words had on him.

"You—You would want me to visit your school?"

"Oui. Zou will love it, Arry. Maria's Garden, zit's most Beau garden in ze world, and Angel's Sweet Shop zakes the best Mille Feuille, Crepes..." Fleur went on and listed the many different sweets he could try at her Wizarding School, and Harry could not believe that a beautiful girl like her wanted to spend more time with him; it felt good that she wanted to invite him to her school. He wondered if he could do that during the Summer. Did he need someone's permission to do that? He was sure that wasn't the case, and he saw no reason for someone like Dumbledore to have a problem with him visiting Beauxbatons during the Summer.

Soon, Harry found his broomstick under his bed. He thought they would walk outside to get Fleur's broomstick, but instead, she smiled sensually and patted the place where the uncopied broomstick was.

Harry turned bright red when he realized what she had in mind.

"Can I sit 'ere?"

"...Oui," Harry answered with a cheeky smile, and Fleur swung her leg across the broomstick. Her arms went around his chest from behind, and she could feel his heartbeat increasing as the broomstick started floating. Her large breasts pressing against his back, she knew Harry could feel them.

"Hold Tight." Harry instructed before flying out of the window.

Fleur looked at the beautiful sight of Hogwarts as Harry moved the broomstick upwards towards the sky before taking a sudden dive towards the lake near Hogwarts. Fleur had heard a squid lives on the river, and she watched a little afraid as a giant octopus arm burst out of the water, trying to grab them mid-air, but Harry flew past it just as it was closing around them.

Fleur's heart almost burst from her throat as they flew around Hogwarts. Harry made sure to show her every beautiful place that he had mentioned the first time they talked. The Forbidden Forest, the Shrieking Shack, the majestic view of Hogwarts from the lake, the Stone Bridge, the Suspension Bridge, the Astronomy Tower, and the Headmaster's Tower.

Fleur had to admit that it was beautiful, perhaps even more than Beauxbatons, but she would never admit that one.

Soon, they landed inside the Bell Tower. With their feet on the floor, Fleur grabbed the iron railings, taking deep breaths as Harry placed his broomsticks away before looking at her with growing concern.

"Fleur?"

"Je vais bien. Zhat 'as—That was merveilleuse, Arry." Fleur admitted, looking back at Harry, her back leaning against the iron railings. Harry walked up to her, a bright smile growing on his face.

"Well, I have a name to uphold. It wouldn't look good for a Host if I could not entertain such good guests," Harry said playfully as he placed his arms on the iron railing. His neck turned to gaze at Fleur's blue eyes. She was resting one foot away from him, looking at him with an alluring smile.

"Ohh, well, ze zan't have tzat 'appen, Monsieur Potter, but zou 'aven't quite convinced me yet that you are a good host." Fleur said teasingly, leaning away from the iron railings, and Harry turned his body around to face her, his back against the railing as she stood in front of him.

"What do you have in mind? What can I do more to entertain my guests?"

"Hogsmeade. I zeard zi a merveilleuse place. The next week, zou, et me." Fleur proposed, batting her eyelashes at him, causing poor Harry to turn bright red when he understood what she was really asking of him.

"Are—are you asking me on a date, Fleur?" Harry asked, stuttering a little, and Fleur smiled sensually at him as she walked closer to him, trapping him between her and the iron railing.

"Maybe I'm. What do zou say?" Fleur asked, reaching forward. Her hand touched his arm, and she felt the muscle under his uniform. She hummed, pleased by what she was feeling, and she enjoyed the way Harry was flushing before her.

"Oui, Fleur. I will come with you to Hogsmeade." Harry agreed with a stupid grin that grew when Fleur leaned forward and kissed his cheek again.

"Zou are Handsome, Arry Potter." She complimented before walking away, swaying her hips as she did, knowing Arry's eyes were on her plump, beautiful arse, and for the first time ever, she was delighted to know that she was appealing to his eyes.

Tomorrow

"So, did Madame Maxime say anything this time?" Harry asked as he opened the library door, unlike yesterday. Today, the two decided to start preparing for the second task; their date would be one week later, so they decided to study.

They might have four months until the second task starts, but they figured they could never be too prepared, so they decided to start looking at the Library.

Harry was sure Hermione was already there, so this would be a good opportunity for her and Fleur to talk and become good friends. Ron was busy playing chess with his new friends and drooling whenever Fleur was nearby.

"Non. She zave me a look. I thinz she knows, but she said le rien." Fleur answered dismissively, holding a book between her left arm.

She barely knew Hermione, but she had asked Harry what she was like, and from what he told her, she figured starting the conversation with one of her favorite books was a good start.

They walked through the Library, reaching the back, where Hermione was sitting alone in front of a desk with what seemed like a mountain of books scattered around it.

"Hermione."

She looked up from her book, gave Fleur a friendly smile, and turned to face her best friend. "Harry finally decided to read," she teased as she stood up and walked up to Fleur.

"Ravi de vous revoir, dame Fleur. Voulez-vous vous asseoir tous les deux? (Good to meet you again, lady Fleur. Do you two want to sit?)" Hermione asked with a little difficulty, hoping she wasn't butchering her French.

"Merci. J'ai apporté ce livre avec moi, « Secret French Runes ». Je pense que vous voudrez y jeter un œil. (Thank you. I brought this book with me, 'Secret French Runes' I think you will want to take a look.)" Fleur said the magic words, and when Hermione cracked a genuine smile.

Harry knew the two would become friends.

Harry and Fleur are getting to know each other. The next chapter will cover Fleur and Hermione becoming friends and Harry and Fleur's date.

I would like to know what you think about this chapter. I hope you have a Good Day.
