So, a few days ago I went back to the doc to check my tests results (audiometry and impedance screening), unfortunately my symptoms contradict them *facepalm*.
What the doc explained is that the symptoms I'm experiencing point to a problem in the internal ear but the test point to an issue in the middle ear but checking the middle and external ear everything is fine as far as they can tell and I don't have symptoms typically associated with a middle ear infection or other issue.

The doc prescribed prednisone to treat a possible (yet undetermined) problem in the inner ear 'cause they said if we wait to much and the problem is there I could permanently lose hearing in my left ear, so I'm still doing that. Any problem in the middle ear is much les urgent according to them.
I still hear a constant ringing but I think I'm starting to hear a bit better, still high pitched but louder...maybe.

Today I went for a blood test to check for creatinine levels and a temporal bone CT scan to check the inner ear and as soon as those results are done I'll go back to the doc to see if there's anything else they can tell me and hopefully fix this thing!

I'll keep you posted as soon as I know anything else.

Good luck and get well soon!

Admittedly I can understand why it's taking so long, a misdiagnosis can do more harm than you think. All the best man!

I hope everything goes well for you. Take care and know we are all hoping for the best!

Here's hoping it can be resolved without permanent damage. Ear related stuff is always such a pain (speaking from experience)

Mucha suerte con eso, ya al menos tener un chequeo formal ayuda en algo :)
