This release introduces a new, hopefully more robust way of pacing a DirectX 12 game engine with my VR framework.

In Cyberpunk 2077, some users (myself included) could experience occasional frames where the whole VR world would flash with random colors, either in one or both eyes. This was more frequent when running at very high resolutions without DLSS and with AER v2 set at 1/2 rate, and it was due to a change introduced in resource usage by the latest official game updates.

Release 10.7.0, attached below, should get rid of the synchronization issue completely. Since I could measure no drops in performance, I made the new technique the default. As usual though, you are free to revert to the previous implementation if the new one is causing you any problems, or just to double check that your frame rate is not being impacted. If you want to revert to the old frame pacing tech, just bring up the mod overlay and deselect "Accurate sync" in the Advanced section of the CP2077 tab.

Remember that just extracting the new .zip is not enough, and that you must run RealConfig whenever you update the mod!

This is exactly the fix I was hoping for. Dually needed. Now ghosting is nearly gone and no more color flashes at hi rez. I can explore NightCity RayTraced in its full glory. Beauty unfolds. Congrats and cheers Luke !

Hello, I wanted to give you my feedback after 40 hours of play on Cyber Punk over the past 2 weeks. I've started a new run with the new patch + Phantom Liberty. The initial setup took a while to get the game stable and clean. ( I have a 4080 ) I finally left the settings you applied when launching real.bat, just changing the resolution to 4000x4000. 2 blocking moments that crashed where I had to disable the vr to pass them. Apart from that, it's a real blast! Thank you for the work you do to enable us to enjoy these VR experiences, which give such a different dimension to games. I'd love to see this mod applied to other games! Keep up the good work!

You know there is a list of supported games the mod works for right??? It is in the Start Here post, not up to date but Luke said he will fix that :) Glad you are enjoying your time with the mod! It is an amazing experience on a higher end system.

I very much want to try this, biggest reason I uninstalled initially. That being said.. this desperately needs an uninstaller where you track changes made during installation and reverse them during uninstallation. Because I tried instructions I found here to uninstall and it was a nightmare.. ended up having to completely wipe and reinstall Cyberpunk leading to me deciding not to use this again and cancelling patreon subscription.. I'd love to come back though.

You should be able to just change the dxgi.dll file to dxgi_bak.dll and the mod will be disabled. If you mean something that will reset the previsous settings you had when playing flat, you could also go into the CP user folder where the settings ini is and change the original json.settings file back and delete the one that the mod makes. The old one will have original or orig in the name.

Thanks, good to know maybe that is it. Still would be great to have an uninstaller. Biggest reason was the flashing that this patch claims to fix which is awesome!
