This is a maintenance release. Lately there's been a flood of official updates to several games in our VR collection, and that directly affected some of the mods, breaking stuff here and there.

Additionally, the changes I had to make to my framework in order to support the new updates resulted in me accidentally introducing some regressions, even for titles that used to work correctly :-(

Most of the issues should be fixed now. I still have a few outstanding reports about problems which either I cannot reproduce on my system (saved games showcasing the issues are always welcome!) or which are so rare that I haven't been able to root-cause them yet.

Changelog

Cyberpunk 2077

  • The camera should no longer detach from V's head during some scripted sequences or cutscenes where the player cannot control the direction in which V is facing.
  • While in the character creation menu, V will be 3D and life-size again (although there is a new annoying artefact where the animated backdrop rotates and clips in weird ways as you look around).
  • The world map can be traversed in 3D again. Remember that since markers need to be aligned to the 3D reconstruction, the HUD gets very large in this mode and elements on the periphery may become unreadable. You can work around this limitation by using the "Free HUD" command, which will give you 5 seconds each time it's hit to read the side info.
  • By popular demand, the default size of the aiming HUD has been scaled down to 70%. This should make all elements visible, although the writings will look smaller and perhaps unreadable. If you prefer things as they were before, set the "Aiming HUD size" slider in the mod overlay to around 1.4 (here too you can use the "Free HUD" command to read everything in the periphery).
  • Fixed the image rapidly alternating between 3D world and flat screen in certain points of the story where a second camera is used to render a character appearing on in-game monitors.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

  • Fixed an issue where the fullscreen menus would appear duplicated, with one copy headlocked and the other fixed in space. The spurious headlocked image should no longer be visibile.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

  • Fixed several issues introduced by the latest official updates (wrong FOV, game unable to enter VR, incorrect resolution settings, etc.).
  • NOTE: It is no longer necessary to delete the "sl.interposer.dll" file from the game directory. In fact, if you do that your game might crash on start, even before getting to the launcher splash screen. In case you have deleted your file already, you can make Steam restore it by selecting "Verify integrity of game files" under "Properties> Installed files" in the Steam game settings, which will trigger a download of the missing file.

Is the SPIDEY folder supposed to be empty? I attempted to install the mod but it doesnt seem to work quite right, upon inspecting the extracted folder the Spidey folder contains nothing.

Falla Cyberpunk 2077 .Cuando entro a ver el mapa y regreso al juego parpadea los elementos de la interfaz como la mira y la información adicional. Ya me regresé a la version anterior mejor.

Just unzip the folder and drop the files into the game folder where the .exe file is located. For Spidey that is the main game folder. You should not have to dig further into the mod files and find a separate folder for the game. Just drop all the mod files into the game folder and run the config file.

What kind of fps are you getting while playing? Make sure you don't have OpenXR toolkit or anything like that active. Click into the game window to make sure it is active. If by flash you mean they are doubling or moving rapidly, try turning off DLSS if you are using it. You can also try updating to the latest version of DLSS (3.5.10) which doesn't seem to crash for me but I still need to test more.

10.5.0 Work very well more than 10.4.1 for CBP2077

May you share first person mod of SPIDEY sir ?

Brandon(Post Maester)

Probably not as it would make combat really awkward and you wouldn't be able to see the spidey sense which can be important at times. There was a first person mod but it was pretty janky when I tried it so not worth paying for.

CP2077 Driving in the third person perspective will change the left and right perspectives as the head turns, and the perspective will not follow the turns when driving. The smaller the world scale, the more serious it will be.

Are you using the latest version of Real which is 10.6.1? Drivers, Windows and CP version up to date? Any other mods installed? Can you put a copy of your RealVR64.log file on Pastebin and post the link here please? Edit: I just tried and it works just fine for me driving in third person.

I tried version 10.7. In the normal world scale, third-person driving is normal. However, after reducing the world scale, third-person driving is still abnormal

Hello. I trying play SpiderMan Remastered. So i downloaded newest version v10_7_2. Copy/paste. Run RealConfig. I followed the instructions to keep some settings off. I turn on the game and the camera is locked to middle of screen. So if i want too see something next to me and move the head - everything is stretching out. Screen is moving with my head instead of stay at place. Someone had that issue? Know the solution? I bought the game to play it in vr but its not playable.

that helped, thanx! :)

Well it is VR. However it's unplayable. 4fps with a latency of 999 apparently. Yet without VR it works without an issue. That's 3 games now all running on 4FPS. I dunno what's happening, but I've followed instructions on both Spiderman: Miles and HZD and all that happens is 4FPS and unplayable. I've been trying for hours to get either of these games working to no success. Who can help to see what I'm doing wrong or what's going wrong with the mods.
