Good morning and welcome to another week, folks! I hope you all got rested up over the weekend and are ready to attack the week ahead and make it your bitch. With the gyms now back open in the UK I definitely am!

While most of the stories featured in the Seven Year Retrospective Top Twenty so far have been pretty traditional transformation stories (could that be considered an oxymoron - traditional transformation, given no transformation is 'traditional'?), the #8 entry is one that definitely plays with the formatting presentation and was one of the first times I really experimented with my writing style.

I'm of course talking about "Instagram Challenge", the bodyswap story I released in May 2019 which uses the social media platform as not just part of the formatting of the narrative but also central to the story's plot. I've made no secret of the fact that a lot of the guys I feature in my stories are folks on Instagram that I've been crushing on, and I suppose in that sense it was only a matter of time until I decided to make that the focus of a story in itself! It's the only social media I actively engage in - although I do have a Twitter I semi-regularly use - and that's probably because it's just pictures of pretty people and not any of the discourse and pettiness that comes with other platforms.

The police stud featured in this story can be found on IG at ironfive0 and all you need to do is take a look at his account to see why he was a prime target for the taking! Of course, this was released pre-baby (although I also used him in another caption involving his pregnant Mrs, as well as another for Halloween a few years back which I suddenly can't find a link for) but I suppose I can handle Daddy Duty too! I'm a man of many talents, don't you know?

One thing that didn't quite work about this story is that the non-chronological structure makes it read a little confusingly. The first few paragraphs are set six months after the swap, then the story moves back to see how that initial swap took place. After that there's a "Six months later" tagline, which refers to six months after the beginning, not the event of the swap. I should have perceived how this could be misunderstood. To clear it up, everything after that tagline takes place twelve months after the swap, at the point where the Challenge is up and the spell takes hold of Officer Ryan's mind! It's one of those hindsight being 20/20 situations, but other than that I'm still really proud of this piece.

Now what I want to do know is that if you were to have access to the same Instagram Challenge that I did, which Instagram hunk would you target?
