Dean was upset at the way his acting career was going. As a pretty skinny guy with an awkward disposition he was always getting cast as the dorky best friend and treated like a joke, plus it was getting difficult to afford rent on his apartment when his asshole landlord kept charging him more and more all because he was "a big time actor now" despite knowing that Dean wasn't on that kind of money. All he wanted was a leading role and on a whim closed his eyes to make a wish that he could be the kind of guy who would be taken seriously as an action hero. 

Within moments he had bust out of the sleeves of his shirt as his body morphed into that of Brant Daugherty, the stud playing the lead role of this latest movie they were filming! Finally Dean has exactly what he wanted - although considering the exposed guns he saw in the mirror, he’d definitely need a new shirt! Now he could only hope that Brant wouldn't cause any issues on set and would settle down as an underpaid supporting actor struggling to make ends meet. Then again, who would be happy to leave such a studly body in exchange for that? His problem now, not mine, the new Brant thought, flashing a smug smile at his reflection before leaving the trailer to start his new life.
