Stephen felt like a weight had been lifted off his chest after announcing that the eighth season of Arrow would be its last. He was looking forward to spending more time with his wife and daughter and putting the intense media promotional circuit that came with being the lead on a popular television series was behind him. He had a year to go until it was all behind him but he was already beginning to feel anxious in anticipation of what his future would hold.

There were certainly a number of fans that weren’t happy with his announcement and as such the actor felt the need to put smiles back on their faces. One such way he planned on raising the fandom’s morale was playing a little prank on them during the Arrow panel at a comic convention that he and his castmates were attending. He’d had the cunning plan to disguise himself as a cosplayer and then rise from amongst the crowd to join his co-workers on the stage once his name was announced, hopefully surprising his fans in the process and giving them all something to laugh about.

On the morning of the convention appearance the show’s costume designers dropped off one of his trademark green leather suits and left him to prepare himself. As he attempted to pull the familiar garment on though he found himself struggling to fit it around his large muscles; it seemed far smaller than he was used to. Had the costume department played a prank on him by delivering a suit that was a few sizes too small? It seemed like the only possibility but as time was running out before the panel began he had little choice but to wrap the suit around him as best as he could and make his way out into the swarming crowds of nerds and cosplayers.

As expected he was stopped by quite a few fans who complimented his suit and his muscles but none seemed to clue in on who they were really talking to. There had been moments when Stephen thought that his joke wouldn’t work successfully and he’d get mobbed with fans before he even got into the panel hall but no such thing happened - he queued up with the other fans and got a seat right in between a big burly Diggle cosplayer and a badass-looking Slade Wilson. Much to Stephen’s surprise both men appeared to be bigger than him and he felt squashed between their massive frames. That shouldn’t have been possible though - wasn’t he supposed to be six-foot-one and one-hundred and eighty pounds of solid muscle? Looking over himself though that didn’t really seem to be the case at all. He appeared to be much smaller and his slender body fit perfectly into the suit that he was certain had been far too tight on him just an hour beforehand.

Before the panel even began the Slade cosplayer rest his hand on Stephen’s leather-clad thigh and the actor let out a soft moan. To his surprise he found himself beginning to tent the crotch area of his pants and couldn’t help but feel confused at his own arousal when he should have been mortified at having another man touch him in such a fashion. He was a straight married father after all, he wasn’t supposed to enjoy it as much as he did! “That’s a nice suit you’ve got there,” his new friend whispered gruffly in his ear, leaning down to talk to the shorter Stephen. “Why don’t we see how it looks on my hotel room’s floor?” Stephen’s face flushed pink - was he really being propositioned by another man and even worse, why was he actually considering the offer?

The Diggle cosplayer on Stephen’s left soon joined in the fun, placing his own hand on the actor’s other thigh. “A little guy like this would look great between us, don’t you think?” the dark-skinned man asked, addressing the fellow hunk also attempting to claim Stephen’s attention. The actor could hardly believe what was happening. How hadn’t they worked out who they were really talking to? It wasn’t possible that he was that will disguised and yet… well, not even his own castmates had recognised them when he’d passed them in the halls earlier. He attempted to explain to the men boxing him into the crowd that he was actually the very man they were all there to see but the words simply wouldn’t spring forth from his mouth. In fact he felt too nervous in their presence to reveal his ruse for fear that it would cause him to lose the physical attention that he was beginning to enjoy so much from them.

Once the panel started up, the cast were introduced one-by-one until there was a single remaining seat on stage: Stephen’s place. Before he could even rise from his seat to reveal his ruse though, the panel moderator made a sudden declaration that caught him off guard: “Unfortunately due to travel delays Stephen Amell has had to cancel. We’re really sorry to all of you folks who were looking forward to seeing the Great Arrow himself but he’s not going to be with us this weekend after all!” A chorus of boos broke out across the hall, leaving Stephen swimming in the very negativity he had been hoping to avoid.

With little else to do but accept that the only joke being played was one on him, Stephen settled back in his chair and attempted to stifle his moans as the hunks either side of him played with him through the leather of his cosplay and whispered dirty promises in his ears. The longer the panel went on the more agitated he felt, not because of his growing awareness that he was no longer Stephen Amell but rather because it meant that he was wasting time that could be better spent with his ass being presented to one hunky cosplayer while his mouth and tongue worshiped the other! The panel was all well and good but Stevie definitely had better things he could be doing with his time. These convention weekends could always be so fun, especially when leather and masks were involved!
