--------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Summary]

Review:

Time to make your Deck hard with another sweet 18+ rougelike.

This absolute gem has the holy adult gaming trinity:

1. Great artwork (animated is a plus)
2. Short and to the point.
3. Actual competent game.

Most people who choose to spend their intimate nights with these games generally have a main intention in mind, and that intention for the most part isn't meant to spread across hours of clicking and other hand motions 💦

Consistent reward dopamine that goes hand in hand with brain stimulating experience is the golden path to the holy cultured land, and such is the case today with Tamer Vale - a beautiful Deck building rogulike, brought to us from the same team that produced the stunning Zetria.

🕹️ In Tamer Tale the goal is simple: progress with your selected heroine through forked path of different events:
- Combat: Fight enemies to earn gold and card rewards. Elites yield greater rewards.
- Rest: Recovery or upgrade HP. Sometimes upgrade your ultimate.
- Shop: Upgrade / remove a card, and also purchase new ones.

At the end of the a road a boss awaits. Defeat it to advance to the next zone.

Choose a heroine out of three available classes, although the other two must be unlocked first by simply progressing the game.

Each heroine has her own unique gameplay and sexual interactions with the different outposts and bosses, which is the perfect way of encouraging the player experiencing everything the game has to offer:

⚔️ Warrior:
The starter class with the highest HP pool.
It uses most a play style that relies on pure physical damage.
The cards you'll draw deal direct damage, protect you with armor, apply offensive buffs, and enemy offensive and defensive debuffs.

🧙‍♀️ Priestess:
The 2nd unlock with the lowest HP pool that cannot attack enemies directly.
Summon spirits that deal damage and cannot be hurt, but instead must be buffed with faith cards that extend their survival duration for up to 3 turns (decreases by 1 each turn).
Different types of spirits are available, which deal damage different, and can be further powered up with spiritual attack cards.

🗡️ Rogue:
The 3rd and final unlock with slightly higher HP pool than the druid.
It has the deepest game style by applying direct damage, creating different potions effects based on the herbal cards colors.
A special stealth buff nullifies all direct damage, but instead builds up an anxiety meter that will self inflict more damage the more damage was avoided. (can be cancelled when directly interacting with an enemy)

Often in games we tend to lean into a playstyle that is more convenient and simply works best, without getting out of our comfort zone.
So asking us to go through at least three different playthroughs, but with a big twist on each one, is more than a welcomed game design when it works. (and it does...)

In addition to each of their unique playstyle, all 3 classes share an ultimate move that is charged every 4th turn, and can be changed based on their respective level. (e.g stun enemies, gain energy, etc..).

You may also choose instead to sacrifice the ultimate charge for that turn, and instead drag the hourglass next to the skill to a card you wish to keep for next turn.

To sum it up - you basically want to beat each class to the end in order to save the world and get the lewds.

💕 Now, if you already played Zetria, then you should be familiar with Karne's stunning and detailed pixel animations created as CGs covering the entire screen!

The girls are all stacked, tall, with big bubbly butts.
Scenes are done only with monsters with massive schlongs. No scrawny human dicks in this one.
Although to be fair, I doubt they'd feel anything with a human after their vaginas turned into moon craters from just one round with those bosses.

Same as in Zetria, we get a beautiful full scale animation spread that is made of a slowly sped up loop with a climax shot.
The art is clean and drawn in very sexy poses, that I felt each animation was totally worth getting.

Eventually you'll complete the entire collection, which can be viewed at the main menu's gallery, along with a final animation reward for beating the game with all 3 girls.

I do wish the shopkeeper also had a bonus scene though...

Overall, Tamer Vale is a must get for anyone looking for legit turn based gaming with amazing pixel artwork, that also makes you work for the good stuff.

Personally, I played it straight up from start to finish almost nonstop. It was genuinely that entertaining on all fronts. The game is challenging enough that you cannot steamroll without putting some thinking into it. (there is an easy mode that isn't braindead either)

It is a through and through Deck building game, even if not on the same depth level as other popular titles such as Slay the Spire or Monster Train.
Keep in mind that while it's important for a quality 18+ game to offer a full fledged experience, it mustn't try to compete with regular games.

At the end of the day we're all just looking for an engaging unwrapping that makes the experience all that much hotter and entertaining.

After all, watching a random monster slaying your girl's ass isn't the same as slaying that monster first so you can watch it slaying your girl's ass.
