Review:

Does getting turned on by monster girls makes you a furry in the closet?

I mean, they're not quite human, but don't really have that much fur either...
Aw, who cares, it's a fact that monster girls are loved by everyone. (statistically checked, promise)

Looking back, most monster girls games that I've ever played were actually pretty damn good!
Lets see... just from the top of my head, we had:

Monster Girls You-Ki
Super Mamono Sisters
Super Monster Girls
Monster Girl Hunt

The list goes on of course. But do you also see the same pattern I'm seeing?

That's right, QUALITY!! 👌

From cute and gorgeous artwork, to the competent and even somewhat unique gameplay, to the light hearted humorous story.
All the elements are present to bring us nothing less than one of the BEST H ARPGs out there!

So lets begin with the most important question:
What kind of sadistic parent names their offspring "Pfel"???
Is that in French? google only suggests our guy might be the embodiment of a stocks group in wallstreet.

Biggest mystery aside, the game starts off with an introduction of the main cast:
Pfel the innocent steward, and his horny mistress the half-dragon Eva.

Eva is HUNGRY (don't worry, not a WG or Vore this time), and you gotta roam the land far and wide to bring her the most exquisite cuisine, along with some other random edibles that happened to land in your backpack.

🕹️ Each task will take you to a new island, starting from the one you initially landed on.
Here you'll learn the gameplay basics: WASD, attack, dodge / dash, heal, and various menu operations, main ones being switching weapons (only one can be active at a time), and the save / load that can be performed at any given point.

Funny enough, if you skip the intro scene then you'll actually miss out on a ranged starting weapon instead of your strong melee attack, but personally I don't recommend skipping any scenes, as they're all entertaining enough and complete the experience.

So you start the game, kill monsters, pick up some food, but not the main course that you were sent to obtain... for that on each island you'll make new friendships that often lead to deeper learning of monster girls anatomy.

There is a leveling system, but to actually gain your leveling rewards you'll have to get back to base and speak with Eva.
She'll offer you three random buffs in return per every newly gained level. (she also grants you a freebie when starting the game)

The quests on each island are thankfully more narrative focused, so instead of murdering the local habitat, you'll trigger an event with a special objective every time: shaking trees, minibosses, treasure hunt, battles, etc..

❗ As if the game wasn't already full of content, the devs included special secrets on each island that rewards you with a new weapon or an H scene.
The secrets aren't always obvious, but thankfully there is a PDF included in the game files with a very detailed map that solves that problem.

Once you reach the end of your path, you'll have a boss showdown with the main monster girl of the island. The patterns aren't as braindead as one would expect, so props to the devs for trying.
Win or lose will result in an H scene with slight alterations to make the scene less or more willing by the MC.

💕 As if that wasn't enough, Eva isn't only hungry, but also very thirsty.
The special meal is only the appetizer, as she'll immediately demand the most exquisite meat between your pants, presenting her deep acrobatics knowledge.

Speaking of lewds, the artwork is truly beautiful.
Animations are short loops, but with a high variety of position changes, that is honestly just as good, if not better than fully animated scenes that sometimes end up cutting in development of other game aspects.

Needless to say, all monster girls on the island are in full heat, so when defeated by one, a lewd game over scene will initiate, where you can choose to escape or stay to watch it fully.
However, there is no penalty to KO, other than starting back from the entrance of the island.

⚠️ Important to note that the game does have a gallery feature, so you can enjoy all of your favorite scenes as you please.

Overall what else can I say? it's a must play, or at the very least own by any Ero game collector.
As much as I'm loved the recently released ARPG Burst Busters, its gameplay doesn't hold a candle for Dragon Princess.

Don't get me wrong, because pixel art > all for me, but at the end of the day we do play video games to have fun in more than one very specific way, and our Dragoness game delivers a the complete H experience.
