Review:

The last time I was this HOOKED to finish an elaborated game in one sitting was when I played the H masterpiece Bloodroot by stDoppel.

And just like Bloodroot, Mega-neechan (or "MegaSis") is another beautifully crafted Metroidvania, that is ever so rare in the scene.

The similarities between the two games continue, as both studios NEVER released another H project in their lifetime, when they pretty much out of nowhere dropped an S-grade content bomb that will catch the most cultured collector off guard.

As already mentioned in the summary, the premise is of a male protagonist trying to break the curse placed on the local extremely thirsty girls.
No testosterone oasis will quench these ladies, as they don't even see our hero as a human, but an oversized toy. How much of a toy you wonder? well... lets just say that one of them slowly shoves him all in, yes that's right - ALL OF HIM!

The game begins by controlling "Phil" (I refuse to believe that's his English name), accompanied by his seemingly unaffected female friend, that guides him around explaining the mechanics.

🕹️ The gameplay mechanics are very similar to the Megaman Franchise with some differences:
Basic movement, Crouch, Double jump, Slide, Rapid shot, Charged shot (instant, uses SP) and sword slash.

I must add that the movement control is pretty tight, allowing the player a lot of flexibility in maneuvering and avoiding a lot of close calls. (and there will be close calls)

Your first enemy encounter will represent all enemies, bosses included, will behave to "capture" you: watch out for the girls naughty flashing that acts as a tell to their heart shots.
These shots will slow you down and deal damage at the same time.
Upon hitting 0 HP the girl will seize and do with you as she pleases.

Another familiar H action games mechanics is when you simply touch them and must tap the button to get away, or else...

After getting more familiar with the controls and exploration, you'll also gain access to a few more features such as stats screen when leveling up (STR, DEX, VIT, etc...) and a skill screen that gives you passive buffs such as more XP, more damage, more equipment slots...

Yes, there is gear as well. We're covering a proper game today.
You can find all sorts of accessories at treasure chests, or you can craft them along with armor at the shop that can be accessed at the teleport / heal shrines.

At the end of each area you'll encounter the boss.
I'd say that the bosses are the only real challenge in the game, given that you can simply resurrect fully recovered at each area that you die at until you get past it.

The bosses however are a different story.
All boss fights follow a set pattern of bullet hell, and even on Normal mode (out of 5 difficulties) these bosses did require a moderate amount of concentration, plus a bunch of clutch recovery potions.

Once beaten, you'll receive the boss' weapon, just like the blue bomber.
Some enemies are weaker or stronger against different types, so make sure to experiment!

These weapons also make our game more Metroidvania-ish by backtracking or progressing through different elemental gates that correspond with specific boss weapons.

💕 I went in great length about mechanics and features...
But what about the juice?

Well, if you didn't gather it yet, then do pay heed that MegaSis is a Femdom game.
Meaning there is less popping off for our hero, and more juiced up bacons of our lovely ladies.

Most acts involve getting squashed between the tiddies or thighs, getting sat on, and of course penetration... in a very dominant way.

Everything is beautifully drawn and animated in pixel art.
Honest to god opinion? just as there aren't enough good H Metroidvanias in the scene, the same can be said for Femdom content - even more so in this art style!

So while the H content can satisfy even those who aren't into it, do mind that it is fetish based, so I'd recommend considering if this game is for you or not.

👍 Overall, you'll absolutely get the bang for your buck in terms of gameplay, but do keep in mind if the H content will be up your alley or not.
Personally, I can't recommend this game enough, being someone that enjoys ANY well-put project with kinks, regardless of my own preferences.

MegaSis plays like any competent game you'd find on Steam, only with plenty of
F to Z Cup horny girls that want to crush you between their soft body parts.
