Since my last post, talking about retro gaming and all that, I was struck with a massive urge to dig for some old-school naughty gaming - emphasis on naughty, because the games I'm about to cover aren't explicit like the usual stuff I bring you.
If you're only interested in steamy lewd activities at the moment, then today won't be the day.
With that being said however, CosmiKankei is the true definition of a gem in the rough: creating a complete gaming experience with lewd elements.
How complete are we talking?
Take out the naughty bits, and you'll still have a good time playing an actual well put together video game.
👉 CosmiKankei started posting on Twitter as an artist back in 2017.
They exclusively focus only at sexy artwork, from lightly dressed to full-frontal pin up shots of a variety of girls. (Everything is OC)
Even the posts they retweet all share the same mindset of sexy and naughty, but never explicit.
About a year later, after gaining more experience and confidence, CK began to share screens of their first adult gaming project: Crawlco Block Knockers.
On their Steam page description, they put into words the exact nostalgic feeling I was looking for when writing this post: "..the vibe of a sleazy, smokey arcade in 90s Japan!"
I'll start by saying that if you enjoy gals reveal titles such as Mokoko and Gals Panic, you absolutely won't get disappointed with Crawlco Block Knockers.
In CBK you control a cute little character that looks like a fusion between Yoshi and a snake. You're hired to work at a warehouse organizing boxes, but as luck would have it, doing so also ends up revealing cute gals in different sexy poses, going from fully clothed, down to their birthday suits - respectfully per stage (3 in total).
🕹️ You're immediately introduced with a quick tutorial explaining the mechanics: Kick, Grab, and Pull boxes of different colors to match them up in 3 of the same (or more) in order to reveal what's under.
While it sounds simple, and it kinda is, the gameplay itself is in fact fast paced and requires a decent mastery of the mechanics to get best score of 3 stars by completing the entire field and not taking any hits from the variety of different enemies that randomly spawn and roam the workspace.
CK could've stopped then and there, we already have a working concept.
But alas, they have also included bosses in the game! with patterns and everything.
Some real dedication right there in a game that is already catered towards a very niche audience within a niche audience. (lets face it, there are less people looking for gameplay in adult gaming)
Honest opinion? that's a solid enough premise for me to pick up an adult game.
I loved Gal's Panic back in the day, and I couldn't ask for a better modern interpretation of the concept.
I'd also like to point out that I almost never speak about music, because well... it usually just exists and doesn't leave any impression, but here we do have sweet synth tunes to accompany us with our naughty workflow.
Did I already say how passionate this dev is?
Crawlco Block Knockers is available on Steam.
Around 2019 another title inspired from other projects started to form, but a far more elaborated one than a simple arcade experience. After 3 years of development, we were blessed with the naughty adventure game: Boo Party.
This time there were more people involved in the development process, resulting in a beautiful 2D pixel adventure, where you control a nameless photographer that found himself in a strange circumstance at the entrance of a haunted mansion.
Our lad shortly teams up with a hot stacked scientist, asking him to bring her proof of paranormal activities with his newly upgraded supernatural camera.
🕹️ Boo Party is a full-fledged adventure game in the full sense of it: Lots of different characters, areas to explore, minigames, and secrets!
Walk around the mansion and meet up with the hottest paranormal babes: the vampire, the nymph, the werewolf etc etc....
Our gals won't partake with their pictures so easily however.
You'll need to complete their requests: be it preparing a burger, to recovering their panties from a perverted squid, to battling in a rhythm game, and much more - as there are over 10 different girls in a huge mansion to explore and interact with.
I'll have to admit that I had no expectation whatsoever of this game being as elaborate as it was. I would've just been happy with the scavenge hunting for different items to satisfy the girls and entertain myself with their "photographs".
For the first time ever I actually considered looking up a walkthrough with how sneaky some of the objectives were.
For the first time ever I played minigames in an adult game that were more engaging than some other completed adult games.
I hate reading in games, and yet I found myself interacting with every NPC to see if they could squeeze another chuckle or god forbid a laugh out of me.
Video games dialogues are so watered down nowadays with all these Twitter movements, that I needed a good dose of well written dirty humor.
💕 Each photograph that you take will remain unlocked in the gallery. There are 17 in total, 4 of them tied to optional objectives such as time attack and a secret side-quest of peeping into a dressing room.
The art style is very cute, and somewhat of an upgrade into HD from Block Knockers.
Aside from one secret steamy photograph, the other are all within the same spirit of soft full-frontal only.
Boo Party is available on Steam.

Games such as Crawlco Block Knockers and Boo Party just DON'T exist anymore!
These are the type of projects that can only be developed by someone with deep connection into the 90's adult gaming culture.
While some people may find being an 18+ developer focusing on sexy non-explicit content as a con, in today's environment I cannot but hug and bow in respect to people that still try to bring us something different other than a quick fapping session.
I wish many mature games had a bit of dirty humor and some nudity to spice them up.
I love when a game randomly throws a harpy with nipples at you. Or when Kratos came across voluptuous women who couldn't wait to motorboat him. (among other things)
18+ themes in legit games is like adding hot spice to your food - it's not for everyone, especially not for kids, but boosts the flavor if you're the type of person to enjoy it.
