Ping (Circle)

Sometimes I feel like reaching out my hand deep down into the depths of the dark web.

I always tell myself there's gotta be more projects that even after all this time and reviews of hundreds of titles... that will STILL catch me by surprise.

The biggest challenge when you finally find them is that... well... they're not very easy to cover without violating 10 different guidelines.

So I'll try to be gentle with my words here, and those of you who can put together the 1+1 will figure out if that's the kind of content you're interested at.

Ping is a circle that emphasizes "punishment" theme.
Repeating motifs in all projects are cheeks slaps and liquid release.

All of their works are done with pixel art.
The first two projects have no H scenes, but are still lewd and graphic.
The latter two have the ever-so-loved H tentacles, but no male partners.

Their latest work "Exorcist Suzuka" that released just yesterday, drew me to dig up more about them after I was pleased with the art style and animations. (and the kink curiosity..)

Ping have released so far 4 games in total.
You can treat all of them as kinetic visual novels, since none of the player interactions matter to the progression of the story:

1. (うごくおしおきシミュレーター男の娘) Moving Punishment Simulator Otokonoko: Not even sure if this is the actual title, but google translate is my only friend here, since you won't be able to find more information about Ping's first project anywhere else.

This is the only title out of the 4 that involves a male character getting punished in an educational institute.
To correct his ways, he received severe punishment by the cheek and then some...
Surely the hyper realistic punishment will correct his ways and turn him into a fine lad with zero post trauma.

2. (お仕置きアニメADVゲーム) Punishment Anime ADV Game: OK, the titles start to make a bit more sense verbally, but then you realize that this isn't an adventure (ADV) game at all!

Our story revolves around 2 girls getting punished by their "landladies".
Who doesn't also remember getting their cheeks slapped right next to their friend (who also gets the same treatment), getting stepped on their privates, forced to wear diapers etc... 

Social services true ending is coming in next patch.

3. (エロトラップ触手ミミック編) Erotic Trap Tentacle Mimic Edition: The most literal, yet most accurate way to describe this game.

Watch a cute girl wandering in a dungeon and happen to come across a treasure chest.
Ho and behold, it was actually a mimic, but unlike Dark Souls it doesn't roundhouse kick you into oblivion. Prepare to get all of your holes violated in every (4) way possible!

Choose between tickling, backdoor, slapping, or perform on her the fearsome "Kokuri Kogeki".
What? you never heard of it? and you call yourself a man of culture?

4. (退魔師みならいスズカ) Exorcist Suzuka: Finally a project name I can get behind.
To top it off there's an actual story, albeit short, all over the place, and questionable, but a story nonetheless!

You're Suzuka who's trying to banish a demon, but get the tables turned on her, and instead getting the lewd monster performing its own homeschooled practice of exorcism on her. 

You can tell the devs improved their style here, and honestly - I might've not even considered reviewing them at all if not for this project.
There's more finer detail in each act of the character, and even voice acting to complete the whole package!

Ping doesn't have the best artwork or animations in the market (that's reserved the previous post), but they do have their own identity and repeated unique themes that I've actually never seen done by anyone else to such extend.

The animations are nice, and only keep improving from one release to another.
Exorcist Suzuka is more suited for wider audience, as it falls in line with more mainstream H content.

It may be a shift in Ping's direction, but one that is welcomed, as long as they don't neglect their niche. Because god knows who else to fill that role.
