This week I had to pick up my jaw from the floor with the sheer amount of QUALITY that OOZED from these two beautiful Rhythm titles.

Originally, I was only going to review Beat Refle, but decided to also add Beat Banger because unfortunately BR has no sexual content.
Yes, you've read correctly, it's a 16+ Eroge that was originally intended for the Nintendo Switch besides PC.

It does have blatant sexual themes, and at the end of the day it DOES fit this blog.
With that being said, I cannot with a clear conscience put up only a single review for a game with no explicit content, as good as it may be.

So if you're not interested in a game with no 18+ themes, you can scroll down to Beat Banger. 👇
If you decide to stay, then you'll find a very high effort rhythm game that I personally found quite enjoyable and unique.

⭐ Lets go into more detail then about Beat Refle:

Beat Refle has a new take on Rhythm games where you massage beautiful women using a unique massage skill you inherited from your cat, that creates music within their minds to ease their bodies and souls.

Your first client is the local voluptuous debt collector, that gives you a month to pay off your deceased grandfather's debt in order to keep the massage parlor.

🕹️ Here you'll be introduced with the tutorial, and basically how the rest of the game is going to look like. (only with higher intensity):
- There are 2 "massage" HUDs, one for each hand you control.
- Each side will have 4 directional inputs / beats coming towards the pressure point.
- There are tap notes, long press notes, and unique long notes for joystick use.

Even though using a keyboard is possible, I heavily recommend using a gamepad instead (preferably Xbox). The color coding, comfort, and overall sense of the game feels a lot more natural with a gamepad.

Since it's not a traditional rhythm game, it can get a bit confusing at the beginning, especially during the different colors mix-ups.
But after 20 minutes or so of adjustment, you'll get a proper hang of it even on Hard mode.

Throughout each massage you'll get a feedback from the girl about how well you're doing, combined with her moans of pleasure that will validate your success at reaching the forbidden fruit, broken up into 3 phases of each song.

At the top left you'll find a bar with a note symbol assigned to it - this bar indicates how close you are to achieve the final extra phase, called "NTR mode" (just a play on the word).
Here is what we came for (or about to..): NTR mode completely undressed the girl, and provides a short minigame where you must press the "weak spots" that pop on their bodies to make them climax with pleasure.

NTR mode is the main reason BR didn't end up making it to Nintendo Switch.
I'm conflicted about the decision the devs made to cut off all 18+ content such as touching and adding light beams at the girls privates.
And for what? just to get cockblocked by Nintendo STILL not approving the game on the platform?

Regardless, the game is very well made, with short VN transitions between the girls, and sprinkles of fan service CG here and there.
The music is great, catchy, fun listening to, and pretty much setting the mood perfectly for each girl's characteristics.

I suggest taking the whole story experience light heartedly and not give it much thought. It's the typical anime tropes story, so don't expect some deep and immersive writing.

Overall, as long as you don't mind the lack of 18+ content, I highly recommend playing Beat Refle if you're looking for a solid rhythm game with light-hearted comfy transitions.
There are very few games who can match up this level of quality in the cultured scene, hands down.

Beat Banger is a rather simple, but fun rhythm game, where you'll meet some of the most popular fictional characters getting creamed to the beats of the sweet tunes the game has to offer.

🕹️ The game is designed with one hand controls, using only Z, X, C, buttons that are assiged to slow, medium, and fast notes respectively.
All you need do is hit the notes when they reach the center, so you can keep up the beat and evolve the sexual animation in the background - that's it!

❗🦊 Keep in mind that Beat Banger is also designed towards the Furry fandom, which translates to all sexual orientations are present.

The free build has a small selection of stages to choose from, going from Toriel (Undertale), to Judy Hopps (Zootopia) to even Yoshi, yes, the same Yoshi from Mario Bros.

Thankfully, there's A LOT more content available via mods, and frankly - makes the whole experience way more interesting with incredible replay value.
Just a few popular characters that were published: Ms. Chalice (Cuphead), Sarvente (FNF), Midna (Legend of Zelda) and much more.

There's not much left to say about BB. Being a game that doesn't beat around the bush, and gives you the goods from the instant you play it.
It's a small app with great passion behind it.

To this day I'm still amazed at how many passion projects there are out there within the H scene. 

Admittedly, I originally believed that there will be only so many quality games I can cover, given how many devs just aim for a low effort quick buck projects.
But the more I got myself familiar with the scene, the more I realized that there are just as many devs wanting to deliver a more elaborate and unique adult experiences.

It's even more satisfying to see how high quality bar keeps increasing, and people are becoming more critical about which adult games to get invested at as a result.

Lets hope it keeps that way.
