When I say from time to time that I aim to bring you diverse quality titles each time, I mean it.
There are plenty of projects out there with a type of gameplay that aligns with my comfort zone, but why even have such comfort zone to begin with?

As I wrote in the past, this blog is built in a way that makes the reader scroll through various genres and fetishes from post to post. My philosophy behind it is that good quality will generate good interest, allowing us to open our minds a little.

Such was the case for me with HornyCraft, which admittedly already piqued my interest just from the concept alone. But as soon as I dived in, I got myself a sweet treat...

HornyCraft is a point & click game, where you play as good 'ol Steve, who begins our adventure by briefly narrating his comfy life in his little naïve mindset.
Steve wants to hang out with Alex - his hot friend and neighbor, but Alex had different plans in mind.

A bit later on, Alex returns and asks for a favor, which turns out completely wrong (or right, depends how you look at it). Steve is heartbroken, and runs to cry in his bed out of shame and embarassment.
Shortly after, Steve suddenly meets a mysterious character that will change his life forever, by simply flipping his "Chad" switch in his brain.

That's the gist of the story. From that point you'll meet multiple characters, all based on the OG such as the sexy creeper or the cute Endergirl.
The "main" story with Alex still continues at any point regardless of your actions with the other girls. (you can treat the others as "sidequests")

🕹️ The gameplay consists of a small world map with basic minigames to gather resources to complete your tasks in order to progress the relationship with each character.

The strength of this project lies in the nonchalant vulgar humor, and how faithful it is to the OG, be it the soothing music, the familiar faces, or just how simple everything is, but in a good way.

The artwork is beautiful, but more importantly - ORIGINAL!!
It reminded me a bit of Demon Deals with less exaggerated thickness.
Either way, you certainly won't find me complaining getting unique artwork and animations in a sea of copy pasted Ren'Py Visual novels.

Besides the initial story / quest lewd rewards, there is also a mood meter for most characters, you can increase it with gifts of materials you gather.
Fill up the meter and rip the fruit in the form of an extra steamy scene, plus you can ask them to fully undress whenever you want.

Now, if you ask me if this is a DMCA waiting to happen? depends...
We're not dealing with Nintendo, but like all good things: get too big and famous, and someone is guaranteed to take you down eventually.

I certainly hope that won't be our case here, as I found myself enjoying the adventure through and through from start to finish of the current build.
However, that's a risk anyone takes when making a parody game of a copyrighted title.

I know how I say that I appreciate games where the devs give a real damn, but here you can also feel they're actually having fun on top of it.
The jokes, the overall silliness, it's all a joy to go through, and more than enough reason to support them in my eyes.
