Review:

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE reviewing high production games!
There are so many incredible games out there to put on this blog, BUT(!!) who is left to look after the little ones? the obscure mini projects that are usually only known in smaller circles.

I won't lie, my appetite for these tiny little gems have grown since my recent multi-review post. It felt good seeing a positive reception through your DMs after highlighting these devs.
So here we are with another 3 games, but more importantly - I'd like to elaborate further on what's behind them!

⭐ Then let us begin with my personal favorite pick - Sorceress End:

I'll admit that I was nothing less than shocked to see another release by DarkRed333.
To bring those of you who are unfamiliar with the name up to speed, they're behind the STUNNING pixel project "Darkred's Adventure".

We're back for some more point & click action, only this time it's a minesweeper!
That's right - no need to explain how to play the good 'ol classic, but what I will explain, is the twists that come with it:

This version of minesweeper replaces the "bombs" with demons, which upon defeat will unlock their respective H scene.
There are 5 demons in total, and unfortunately the scenes you unlock in the gallery don't share the monologues our cute gal is saying during each scene when defeated.

Obviously, you won't be able to unlock all monsters right away. Just like anything else in life, you gotta work for it.
Your goal is to reach stage around stage 20 to have the "chance" to find the final enemy to unlock.

Not an easy task, given that you only get 3 lives. Thankfully you get a shop every 5 levels that you can upgrade your max health, or buy a variety of helpful buffs and features to ease up the process. (you'll randomly collect money when revealing tiles).

While I certainly appreciate the great pixel animations and the high effort that went to make them so smooth and juicy - they're still not at the same level as DarkRed333's previous project.
Still enjoyable nonetheless, but gotta be real.

Besides, after about 10 runs it finally hit me that I'm playing the world's FIRST H pixel minesweeper!
Gotta hand it for the innovation and the extra effort to make it feel unique.

Sorceress End is available on here.

⭐ Onward and upward to our next game - Honey Combat:

After playing Cuphead again since the DLC just came out, I've been wondering - does sometime the art makes the game? Surely a game such as Cuphead doesn't bring anything new to the table at all. But yet, it is so captivating with its elaborated design.

No, I'm not comparing this game in the slightest to such a fine masterpiece, but I do want to talk about how a familiar concept doesn't need to get changed at all to STILL be a fun experience if it has an interesting visual concept that carries it.

In our case here we have a simple linear base defense: One BIG queen vs another (in different color), trying to take over each other's base.
You control the centurion, who's in charge of dropping different colored or "flavored" honey that will evolve your skinny dinky bees into different forms of thicc powerhouses!

You get the tank, the bomber, the warrior, the gunner, and a special honey to enlarge your queen even FURTHER! (up to two times, extra base def)

I'm not the kind of person that enjoys base defense, but even I found myself playing for 10 minutes straight on Hard mode figuring out the best starts to distribute my thiccness into glory.

It's a fun game, but once you play it you may wonder - "ok, that's nice and all, but I thought this was adult content?"
You're not wrong, which takes us to the person behind the art - BellyBelting.

Let me tell you something: I have zero personal interest in thicc / inflation fetishes.
Not my cup 'o tea. But MY GOD - can this person draw!!
I've seen plenty of thicc artists, however, in terms of pixel art I've yet to find anyone this talented to the point that even someone like me can appreciate the artwork of a fetish I have absolutely no interest at.

BellyBelting draws both clothed and nude art of the highest pixel quality, which you can all find on their DeviantArt, and their Twitter.
Even if you're not into it, do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't regret it.

Honey Combat is available here.

⭐ But wait, we have one more game to cover! Say hello to Bubble Dream Pop:

Ok, I'll give it to you straight - in terms of gameplay this is by far the weakest of the 3.
Although even then I did find the brief experience enjoyable to 100%, which kinda reminded me of those random games you download just for the heck of it to your smartphone.

You control a nameless girl without any backstory, that as the title suggests - is dreaming, and your goal is to survive her "fall" by moving left and right for as much as you can while avoiding the bubbles that will wake you up.

Complete all (relatively easy) challenges, and you'll unlock yourself a sweet gallery of 4 pixel gifs and a static CG. All beautifully drawn.

That's it. That's the game!
So why do I even bother putting it up here you might ask?
The answer is again - the very talented artist (and dev) behind this project - Bun!

Honestly, if I was any good at drawing, let alone H content - the first thing I'd do after I gained enough confidence in my artwork, is to create a short minigame to advertise myself.

Bun is criminally unknown yet, and the least I can do in a post that is dedicated to the small people, is to let you know they exist.

So other than enjoying the small and sweet gallery of Bubble Dream Pop, make sure to check out their Twitter, and follow if you like what you see!

I can tell you that any content creator out there instantly gets motivated when they see genuine interest in their work.
I'm positive than bun, or any creator for that matter - will feel the same if they receives more love.

Bubble Dream Pop is available here.

I don't know if you've noticed, but I've been investing more and more time into research and nitpicking my reviews more carefully the longer the blog existed, and the more support I received from you.

To us creators, your support makes or breaks us, and to me personally when I receive even one line of a good word for what I do - you already made my day.

So go ahead and enjoy these small projects, and maybe throw a good word for these devs too. Your 10 seconds of typing something nice to someone can easily fuel the next big title.

❤️ For relevant H content of these titles you may contact me in DM for referrals.
