Reviews:

Yep, you've read correctly - it's a DOUBLE review this time.

Both titles fall under "Simulation", which in most cases are very bare-bones projects without much to write home about.

Thankfully Kyoko offers us a whole lot of packaged pixel goodness that the world needs to hear about.

* We'll start with the first installment - you play as Kyoko who needs to maintain her ever-growing phone bill and keeping up her tanned body with money that she doesn't have.
Our heroine figured the most reasonable solution to make a quick buck would be to sell a product that most man wouldn't be able to resist - herself.

The game plays on a linear lane where you walk up to potential customers, engage in a short conversation, and continue the intimate interaction shortly after. Get paid, unlock new costumes (only showing on menu), and increase the rumor parameter in order to make more people and new events show up on map.

There are 2 different areas to explore with their own unique events and animations.

Very simple game with INCREDIBLE pixel artwork!
What I like the most about a good simulation title is that they don't beat around the bush. Boot the game up and immediately unlock the goods.
The voice acting is certainly a plus, and the treadmill through H events was laid out in an entertaining way that gets the player to enjoy all of the content without padded repeated gameplay.

The game would've probably sold even without the whole elaborated "gameplay", but it works, and the animations are so well made that you won't regret a second going through the whole thing.

There is a gallery mode of course that is available through main menu. (or you can just re-engage with NPCs while exploring)

* Our second installment has much less going for it, but equally as enjoyable for the content it offers.

Kyoko's 2 minigames are all VERY straight to the point, which means no dialogues, no prep, just do the deed and enjoy the show.

Just like the previous game - the pixel art is top tier. Kyoko will put up her best front seat and back seat performances for you with beautiful pixel animations to have fun with.

On its own this project would've been written as a "bonus" post, but both titles complete each other into a single great experience that I personally wish any SLG developer would've taken notes on how to make even a simple experience just as engaging and fun as other games in the scenes.

Both games are available on DLsite.
