Hey!

I hope everyone is doing great! I have 40 days until the move and we're in the process of getting all of our shots. That totally sucks, but not nearly as much as getting whatever the hell Japanese encephalitis is.

I am thinking about creating a partner page with GOG. They reached out to me now that they are carrying adult content games and it seems like it wouldn't be a conflict of interest, but I thought I would mention it to you all to see if there is anything that I should know.

I'm also really struggling with the titles of some of the games I have videos for. Basically anything with Lust in the title is immediately flagged. It seems that the thumbnail can have the title of the game, just not in the name of the video. I guess I could call Lust Theory, "Groundhog Day: the game". I don't want to mislead people, but I also don't want the video to be automatically suppressed.

The Diablo Immortal video went about how I thought. Low views, but a bunch of comments. I feel that it counts as a "game with adult content", but I do understand that most people are primarily looking for something else with my videos. I will keep occasionally including stuff like this, but don't worry: the focus of the channel will remain where it has been.

I hope everyone has an awesome week!

Just have fun with the titles and print the relevant info on the thumbnail, something like "MY CHANNELS UNDER ATTACK! YT doesn't want me to review LT and here's why!!!"

By flagged do you mean that the title would be demonetized or that it would cause a strike on your channel? I made a research on YouTube about video reviews of Lust Theory. I found at least 10 reviewers. I am not sure how YouTube proceed with their censorship. Is your channel being targeted or there an obscure reason behind the flagging.

So there seem to be "types of demonetization". I am not worried about the revenue aspect. Even when a video gets monetized my CPMs are always way lower than a dollar. The problem is when a video gets flagged and suppressed. Those are the videos that don't get shown and you have probably heard other creators complain when this happens as there is a massive drop in impressions. This is something I have to deal with most of the time given my content and it is a massive impediment to the channel's growth. I'm never going to make money from views, but it is important to me to create videos that get a lot of impressions. Now if someone chooses to click on the video and how long they watch are controllable on my side as well, but the impression number shows if a viewer even gets the opportunity to click on it or not. That is why suppression is such a concern for me.
