Definitely one of your best videos so far, and that is not a low bar, so kudos to you! I love your essay and I am seriously impressed by the depth of your research and argumentation. It is truly spectacular, how the roots of what is effectively a niche inside a niche within the entertainment industry could be traced so far back in our history and into such influential works of art. Seriously, though I predicted "Pygmalion" and, subsequently "My Fair Lady" to make an appearance (and I should have predicted "Taming of the Shrew" - a fail on my part for not doing so), I would never have made connection with the comedy of manners, Jane Austen or the dystopian literature on my own. I would not mind similar videos in the future regarding other types of flavours, their historical backgrounds, the reasons for their place in our collective psyche etc. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Overall, amazing work!

Thanks! I would like to be able to do videos like these in the future, but I am concerned about the reception. I'm committed to finishing this Trainer series, but we'll have to see about the viability of subsequent ideas.
