Hey--

Tomorrow will be part one of the history of the trainer genre. I apologize in advance if it is too stuffy/esoteric/boring. I'll also be releasing Flavor of the Week: VR for Wednesday. Friday's release depends on how part one does.

Thanks to everyone for your advice, feedback, and patience about tomorrow's video! It took a really long time to research and plan. Even if it doesn't do well, I appreciate being given the opportunity to try out new things.

I am looking forward to the video! I am sure your hard work will pay off. As for VR games, do you all play them with actual vr headsets or can you play any of them without one? I have never tried those games before.

So most of the games I covered have a non-VR mode, but the reviews themselves cover my experiences using VR. For this review I used the Oculus Quest 2 with the Oculus Link cable, because of the lower price point and popularity of the unit.

So it's gonna be a half hour deep dive? Cause that'd be sweet.

Lol-- I cut part one to around 10 minutes, because I don't talk about video games at all. I am really worried about that... I imagine that the total length will be in excess of 30 minutes. Part II is basically scripted, but part III will depend on reception. I don't want to bore people.

I'm excited for it regardless. I've played several of the games from the flavor: trainer video and I have realized that they aren't really my thing, but I do enjoy the videos.

Newest patron here! (At least as I type this! ) I say go all in! Don’t hold back! The work you’re doing for this community is incredible. You’re bringing so much legitimacy to this genre. Give us all the analysis!

I appreciate the confidence. Let's see how tomorrow does. I reduced a lot of the references to keep it under 10 minutes. I mean how many 16th century examples do I really have to give?

Looking forward to it! I think history is pretty cool.
