SO I sa"id back when I posted the Ashley Park "Start2Finish" piece that I was also considering a "Before and After" format.  This is an example of how that would look.  No signs of an active TF process, just both the character's forms side by side.

Of all the well known TF's featuring female characters in media, "The Catwoman of Channel 6," the 17th episode of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja series, is possibly the one I see homaged most often. Not sure if it's the popularity of this incarnation of April, the comparatively gradual nature of the change, or the way both physical and mental changes were portrayed over the process that's made it so enduring.   It may be helped that it's one of the few TFs that has been immortalized in plastic, as the 1993 Mutatin' April figure is clearly inspired by that episode, even though the type of cat is slightly different.  (There was a more recent collector targeted action figure of April in her cat form as it appeared in the  original episode, though there was no fransformation feature included in that one!)

Anyway,, that's who I decided to use for this model.  April is based on a drawing I did some time back (included in this post) speculating what the 1987 version would look like in more conventional, professional reporter's garb that still kept her signature color scheme.  The cat form is modelled more on the Mutatin April figure, which featured a more drastic transformation than the original one, in which she was merged with a common domestic shorthair cat.  It's funny--I never noticed before, but while the TV ad for this figure states she becomes a tiger, the figure clearly has spots, not stripes. Meanwhile the transformation chart included with the figure specifies leopard--yet she still has orange fur.

Anyway, I hope you like my latest take on this classic transformation!
