I was working on this piece from the Abbey of the Lost Caretakers, coloring it for the print edition of the UVG, when I received word that my father had died. That was two weeks ago today.

The week after my father died, the week when I helped arrange his last rites, was the hardest week of my life that I can recall.

Today I finished that piece from two weeks ago. Thank you everyone, for standing by me and mine in our time of need.

It has also clarified for me that I need to streamline some of my processes.

Changes on the Stratometaship Patreon

These are not big changes, but I've been noticing two things: first, I'm having trouble completing the custom pieces for the metaheroes. I'll organize a poll and discussion and discord thread to figure out what would be the best solution for that tier.

Second, I want to bring more voting and interaction to the hero tiers. Obviously, discord helps with that, but I don't want to push everyone to discord. Being able to talk and discuss here is also vital.

These are things I've been mulling over for months, but what with the UVG layout eating me up ... I've let things slide a bit. I apologize for that.

Changes on Work

Another couple of changes are in the works in how I create finished products. I'm discussing a closer partnership with Exalted Funeral for production and distribution, as well as more regular cooperation with editors and graphic designers for the production pieces.

This is where I would appreciate some input right here and now. I'm looking to simplify the tasks that take a lot of time, and which I am frankly not the best at - like editing and layout - by hiring professionals and reserving them for the finished products.

I want to focus instead on the art and writing of games and related fictions.

Would you, the heroes of the stratometaship, be ok with me releasing adventures and products that are a bit simpler looking (like the Longwinter 2) as the price for a more streamlined process that lets me write and draw more, and also complete finished pieces faster?

Finally, An Embarrassing Request

One of the metaheroes commissioned the princess and the moon some months ago and I drew it and I lost the email commissioning it and now I don't remember who it was! Please! Who is this following piece for?

Thank you so much for your patience everyone.

You have truly been my heroes these last few weeks.
