Hey everyone, it's finished!

Took an extra day to make sure everything was as good as it gets. =D

Had a lot of fun on this one. It's always great to draw Iris, but this one in particular I've been wanting to do it for quite some time. It was very tricky to get the composition right, but I'm really happy with the result. I also wanted to change her wardrobe a bit, and make something slightly different.

So I hope you guys like it!

Oh wow, this painting is so insanely colourful and vibrant! I love seeing the blues from the sky and water, the reddish-browns of the tiles with the green grass and foliage separating those tones from the fence. And it's delightful getting to see Iris herself in full colour, particularly with her cool-toned clothing and bright blue and green eyes contrasted with her tanned skin. The background details are marvellous as always with such a great level of detail and texture to everything, like the wood-grain on the fence and the waving patterns through the tiles, the water too looks great as well. I also like the spotty lighting across the fence as well. The little glass in front of Iris is also quite eye-catching as well with it's lime-green against the warm reddish-browns. And then looking at Iris... just... WOW!!! 💙💚 Iris always looks cute but in this painting, she may well be the most adorable she's ever looked! I really like how wide open her eyes are with the bright green and blue having a beautiful shine, her nose and freckles are all so cute and the texture of her lips are gorgeous, the lip-bite is always a fun and sexy touch too. The hair is amazing too with how it all sweeps to one side, I especially like the lighting with the tips of her hair having this bright, warm lighting to it, turning it fire-orange 🔥 The rendering of all of her skin and body is just fantastic and I love how natural she looks as she leans forward, the way her breasts hang out with the fold through her stomach as well, the deep shadow of that crease looks great and I just love the general definition/rendering of her stomach. The hands are so well detailed as always and the entire lengths of her arms are so very well done. I particularly like how Iris' legs are painted here, with her lower leg having that wet texture and droplets running down it, as well as blue lighting from the water (and the shape of the leg breaking up in the water), while I just love the foreshortening of her left leg, with the light running through her thigh and meeting the shadows that define her bent knee. All of the lighting interactions and textures on that leg just look so perfect! Her clothes look lovely too with the patterns and lacy frills on her top, as well as the frayed and ripped ends of her shorts with the deep folds through them. Absolutely beautiful work on this wonderfully vibrant painting, with Iris just looking so insanely adorable. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love it when you play with shadows. Iris' sun tanning picture is one of my 2 favorites for her (bday cake being the other) and it also worked wonders with Onyxia's picture.

I have to say, I'm really really happy with the results of the colors on this one. It's often tricky to get many vibrant colors to work out together, so I'm really glad they came together nicely. I also really love how her body and face/hair came out. I think it's really great to make those "relaxed" poses, because it makes her feel much more natural. And I've been wanting to do those crochet bikinis for quite some time lol
