Hey everyone, here's the preview of the first image of July, the one and only, Iris =D

I wanted to make something with a "summer" theme for quite some time .. and well, it's finally summer! (for some of you at least lol)

Also I absolutely love those "relaxed" poses, with all the wrinkles and "folds" the body has. Imo it makes a much more authentic pose. And well, the lip bite is her signature move whenever she's thinking of something ... and it adds an extra layer of cuteness =3

I also wanted to explore other parts of her hourse, besides the beddrom, bathroom and kitchen lol.

Anyway, hope you guys like it!

Jean shorts, tan lines, sunbeams, cocktails, extra freckles, are all things that Iris wears well.

Oh, our very first image is of Iris, well consider me very happy! 😍😍😍 I really like the pose she's in with her arms extended and legs bent, with a nice bit of foreshadowing on the raised leg that looks great, as well as a bit of a twist to her body as she turns to her left. I also like how her stomach is bent inwards as she leans forward, I always really enjoy the way you paint stomachs when they have that fold running through them. I also love this kind of hairstyle where it's sweeping around to one side like this and falling forward on the other, creates a pleasing asymmetry and has a lovely flow to it. And I am always a fan of cute lip-biting which sure enough, looks adorable on Iris! Already you've got quite a bit of detail added in with the clothing and it's folds as well as little props in the environment, it'll be fun to see all of that stuff fully painted. Oh and one little detail I like is the area around her right breast where her vest strap is stretched out away from her body as her chest/breast sinks inward. Wonderful work so far! Really looking forward to seeing the summery theme fully finished and coloured 😊

Let's be honest, Iris could be wearing a burlap sack and still make it look awesome. lol

Thank you! Those poses are usually harder to do, but I love how much they "show" through body language. And I've been wanting to play a bit more with lightning like this for quite some time, so it will be great practice =D

I believe I did mention that I wasn't going to do the Yoga version anytime soon. It's an idea that simply didn't work and I have a lot of other things for her that are much more fleshed out, so while it's possible that I revisit it again in the future, it's definitely not coming any time soon =o

I love the pose— very natural and relaxed.
