After viewing our most recent schedule, many of you predicted that the "secret project" we planned for October might be another spooky city. Well, you were all gosh darn right. Brimspur is our newest borough, a three-part setting that combines themes of HELL with themes of THE WILD WEST. That sound alright to you, pardner?

Borough Guide

Our first guide introduces the setting of Brimspur. It's a terra nullius that exists in between infernal domains. There is no single underworld lord in charge here. Instead, it's a crossroads where mortals can swing by to sell their souls, demons can indulge their basest desires, and embittered fiendish rivals can settle scores. This document explains how you can get to Brimspur, how you might go about spending the twin currencies of souls and snuff, and highlights the town's saloon and chapel.

Maps

This map is a first for us: a map in landscape orientation. The whole city of Brimspur will consist of three such maps stacked vertically. In the northern section of the city, you'll see Brimspur Saloon, the infernal chapel, and plenty of dang dust, bones, and lava. We've got a heap of variants this time around: massacre (aka "bloody"), misty, desert, desert massacre, sandstorm, forest, winter, Shadowfell, void, and Styx. No matter what sort of frontier / hell town you want to run, we've got a map for you!

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier also gain access to a number of interior maps. We've got four floors of the Brimspur Saloon (vaguely NSFW???) and one floor of the chapel. We've got three lighting versions for each: day, night, and unlit. That way, you can tailor the lighting to match the tone of your hell. NOTE: This content bundle is huge, so we had to include the interior maps as a separate download.

Music

Our track this week is "Souls and Snuff," a crunchy Western tune with distant harmonica, gritty guitars, and out-of-tune piano. Of course, since this is Brimspur, everything's got a slightly infernal vibe to it. This is not just the frontier, this is a devilish frontier. If you want something a bit less in-your-face, try the "Ghost Town" variant!
