Time for the looters to get what's comin' to 'em

Welcome back to Zahuatil Ruins, everyone! We've finally hit the point in the city where shit starts hitting the fan. The ruins are a fake, and everyone is about to discoverthe truth: that everyone and everything (literally!) is prepare to take these ruins back from the bastard colonizers.

Borough Guide

This guide is all about the nightmares the players will face if they stick around the ruins long enough. Kobolds, mimics, and traps aplenty will begin to fight back. We've got a table of ruins encounters, a guide about how to run dungeon interior adventures in the height of the mayhem, and information about the select few "designated survivors" who will tell the tales of destruction. This guide is primarily aimed at getting you ready to run a complex ruins-wide combat encounter. TPKs are back on the menu, friends!

Maps

Map 3 slots in directly beneath the first map. This map shows off a bit of the market, some more mysterious temple architecture, and a colossal fallen tree. How did that get there? Is that part real at least? As always, we have some stunning variants: shadowfell, desert, misty, and rainy.

This is certainly a first. We have so many interior maps for this release that we have to attach two additional zip files just to hold them all. We have spinning saw rooms, rooms with crushing wall spikes, swinging blade, and topplable pillars. There's a watery maze, a throne room, and more assets to help you link the various rooms to each other or the ruins outside. It's a truly staggering amount of dungeon assets. The possibilities are limitless. You better show us some of your creations!

Music

C'mon, obviously we had to make some explosive combat music for this release. "Takkobo Mig" might just become your new favorite jungle battle track. Aggresive mallet percussion, shakers, and giant drums pound away at crazy rhythms, punctuated by terrifying horns and whistles. This is primo DK64 boss music.

If that's (understandably!) a bit too intense for you, the "Kobold Mix" bring the energy down a hair... it's still hectic, but it won't send your blood pressure off the charts.
