Hello all. Welcome back to Zahuatil Ruins! This release takes us further into the temple complex. There are mysteries afoot—what's that ship doing here, for one?—plenty of new rules for how to use mimics in your campaigns, and an aristocratic psychopath for your players to investigate. Let's dive in!

Borough Guide

This document provides a deep dive into Triqe van Leery, the wealthy mimic shepherd who helped to architect these fake ruins. Triqe and his legion of mimics are bound to cause loads of problems for your players, so make sure you read up on his quirks! Plus, we've got plenty of quest hooks about The Endregol, a ship that has inexplicably found its way into the heart of the ruins. Finally, it's possible your players will suss out the true nature of Zahuatil Ruins before all hell breaks loose. This guide provides a wealth of options for how to run with that!

Maps

Even if your players never step foot inside the temple, there are traps and unusual artifacts to investigate among the exterior of the ruins. This map has a spike pit, fallen statues, and of course the big ol' treasure hunting ship stuck up in a tree. As with each of Zahuatil Ruins releases, we have 4 variants: misty, rainy, Shadowfell, and desert.

We have a few interiors for you with this release. Patrons at the Chief Courier tier or higher gain access to multiple decks of The Endregol, the interior of Triqe's tent, and a few more dungeon assets for you to stack and layer.

Music

Adventures in Zahuatil Ruins will always be hectic. For complex antics, chases, and lighthearted japes, throw on "Xipati Huato," an extremely busy track of kalimbas, marimbas, and all sorts of percussion. For slightly less hectic moments, we also have the "Chill Groove" variant for patrons at the Chief Courier tier and up.
