Hello one and all, and make sure to grab your satchel securely under your arm, because today the LIMINARC is under attack! Yes, this release is all about the Keepers of Slumber, sworn enemies of the interdimensional post office that you know and love. We've got more airships, weird lore, and a real banger of a combat track. Let's take a look!

Borough Guide

This document outlines a brand new faction in the Borough Bound extended universe. The Keepers of Slumber are knights, mages, and technicians committed to severing all ties between realms. They fear awakening immortal cosmic dragons that would surely end all life throughout all worlds, and so they wage war against those who would connect disparate peoples—TL; DR: they really hate LIMINA. This guide gives you options for customizing the faction, shows off 9 NPCs, and presents descriptions of the four new airships in this collection!

Maps

First things first: the Keepers of Slumber airships! We've got Seething Skull, Mantic Iris, the Nightmare Wing, and the Subtle Claw. Patrons at the Delivery Kid tier get access to all of these ships flying through the sky. Patrons at the General Messenger tier and above also get those four airships as separate pngs.

We also provide even more backgrounds: rainy badlands, giant's causeway, elysium, geometric sky isles, seabed, tropical storm, and space battle. Again: these backgrounds are tileable! That means you can make background maps as large as you want by seamlessly copying-and-pasting these maps into a grid. Patrons at the Delivery Kid tier get access to the elysium and giant's causeway backgrounds, while those at higher tiers get access to the full suite of backgrounds.

We've yet again provided interiors for all 4 of our airships. Run a mini dungeon aboard the Seething Skull, fight into the hold of the Nightmare Wing, or (perhaps!) pilot the Mantic Iris and Subtle Claw. We're particularly pleased with how distinct these feel from the LIMINARC ships. These are crunchy and weird, more Mad Max than Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Have you ever said to yourself "hmm, y'know, I'm quite lacking in dieselpunk flute-forward quasi-sci-fi combat music"? No? Well, if you had, then you'd be SET today! "Seething Skull" is part tribal exaltation, part glitchy rave duel, part dishonorable spaceship dogfight. If you want something a bit less in your face, the stealth variant is perfect for aggressive infiltrations.
