Lovely. My favourite weird orchard is the Peach Walls in Montreuil, in Paris. I put them in an Ygolonac scenario: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mur_%C3%A0_p%C3%AAches

Those complex landscapes of orchard walls play an important role in a lot of battles in the medieval middle east!

With the Ammut: if it devours souls, is it destroying something that cannot usually be destroyed? Particularly here thinking if this prevented one doing Speak With Dead because the very soul had been devoured, they could actually be important for getting rid of evidence or enemies in a much more permanent way than is often possible in D&D (I guess you might need to drop the Only Devours Evil Souls for it to be much use for that, but it's a thought that I think one could use). For the Ashirahs, your mention of grafting interested me - you could do an interesting plot take with using tree grafts in the way science-fantasy often does chimerical mad sciencey type monsters and think about what effect that might have on the Ashirahs?

I think there are other ways to destroy souls, but that's a good point. If you *really* want someone got rid of, you could feed them to the Ammut. And honestly, lots of people want to murder evil people too.
