I had the exact same vision of Goblin Airshark riders with googles and leather helmets. And I very much enjoyed the short excursion into the aesthetics of naming. I've never read Arduin, although I was aware of it. It has much of the same, not exactly feel, but origins I guess, of the large sandbox game I wrote in the early 80s, and still have in folders.
