Talking about photography, have you ever heard about people having a "good side"...?

This usually refers to the side of the face that has better symmetry, maybe better skin, or the side that the hairstyle works best with.

Well, this is also true for drawings, some character designs definitely have "good sides" too...!

In this particular case when I started drawing Yunyun, I started drawing her without giving much thought to her design.

I started working with her facing to the right but then I remembered the hair clip that Yunyun uses is on the left side of her head. Additionally, the most open part of her hairstyle reveals her left eye, so for a good drawing that shows all these characteristics, a frame to the left was the best option.

Fortunately in these times a simple flip to the canvas was enough to correct this oversight.

So yeah, today's note is:

► Be mindful of the character design you're working with.
