I've been busy with work and finally got back on my favorite self-care treatment: making guns!

I have been putting this kit off for a long time. I purchased it a few years ago, but never got around to it until now. It's a simple blowback that never got the same aftermarket love as the 10/22. As Remington folded, the 597 is no longer produced.

The model is compatible with .22 LR kits. It is NOT compatible with the recalled and dangerous .17 HMR kits.

Anyways, I have a slicktop and a picatinny variant complete. It is an easy, but tedious, gun to put together. With the models done, all that's left to do is to write documentation and open a beta test.

I broke a record for this actually. I had a working model in four revisions. Its a quick print- you can make one in seven to fourteen hours depending on which variant you choose on an Ender 3.
