A scene I've been planning since the beginning of the chapter. Give a warm welcome to Sam, who you might remember from the A Growing Kitsune series and that little halloween special comic.

For a while now I've been wanting to return to that series, and having Sam here gives me the perfect opportunity to tell a bit more of her story. For those of you who are curious, this story takes place before the events of A Growing Kitsune, which means that here, Sam is still single, and hasn't even adopted Karyl (we might actually see that happening along the series... 😉).

And why would Thyra need to call someone who's not a doctor nor related to the clinic in any way? Hmm... I guess we'll discover it soon 😏
