Jan. 2020: A Norwegian natural gas company, utilizing a remaindered Soviet sub turned  ROV, pinged a strange radar contact while mapping the floor of the Berants Sea. For six seconds before the equipment failed, the drone sent active pings at the anomaly. For seconds 2, 4 and 6? A mysterious submersible bounced sound waves back. 

For the  other three seconds, the sound cut through nothing but abyss.

Delta Green scrambles a team with a Friendly aboard the USS Ilium. There's a ghost ship at the bottom of the ocean, and it's left the lights on for them.
