To explain the Laena thing: At the beginning she does say she wants to die as a dragon rider and not have a “normal” death. There’s a theory going around that the baby might’ve been ectopic but this was never confirmed as far as I know so even if she pushed the baby literally would not come. And when Daemon was asked if he wanted to try and save the baby it’s small but he does shake his head “no” to the question when it’s confirmed Laena will die if they try. Basically leaving it to her to decide (which given Daemon, is a big thing and shows he’s mellowed out somewhat). And Laena chose to go out as a dragon rider as she wished to do. It’s pretty clear that Vhagar doesn’t want to do it but dragons and their riders are tied to one another emotions so Vhagar felt the pain and desperation she was in and that was why she done it. It was also explained in an interview that there was a couple deleted scenes here which explains why Daemon wasn’t right behind her. He was taking his daughters to bed so they wouldn’t see their mother in pain and came back to discuss with the physician and only then noticed she was gone and ran after her but he was too late. The second deleted scene was him hugging his daughters after it’s confirmed they saw what happened before walking away and leaving them to their own devices. It’s pretty tragic all round honestly. It was burnt by Aegon the Conqueror and it was only partially restored as it’s the largest castle that had ever been built and there simply was no need for a castle that large. One last thing but Daenerys is the only member of House Targaryen who cannot be burnt (in the show anyway as it only happens in very special circumstances regarding blood magic in the books and not a one and done thing). So it’s very possible for Targaryen’s to die by fire. However, they do have a much higher tolerance for heat than anyone else.

The 2 actresses playing Alicent and Rhaenyra were 17 and 22 yrs. There was no way they can play 40 yr olds. House Strong is the lord of Harrenhal and Lyonel was Master of Law in the earlier episodes. After Otto was fired, he was promoted to Hand. Harwin's sons Harwin and Larys, are with him in KingsLanding. Harwin is commander of the City Watch and Larys is Lord Confessor. Harwin is Rhaeyra's lover and the father of the 3 princes, which is why Lyonel tried to resign and bring Harwin away from Rhaenyra so there is no rumours about them. LOL @ your reactions to Daemon. Daemon has many faults but he is fiercely loyal to his family (Viserys, Rhaenyra, etc.). However, is has a big communication problem so he doesn't know how to communicate correctly so he just avoids it.

Sorry but Rhaenyra's kids aren't savages so not sure why u agreed. They're actually decent sweet boys, it was Aegon who came up with the pig joke and just got the young nephews of his to join in. Sir Criston being petty and still holding a grudge after a decade is ridiculous, same with Allicent. Ignoring her sons behaviours, then filling his & Aemonds head with resentment & paranoia for their nephews. All allicents babies screamed in her presence and she never looked like she loved them. Whereas Rhaenyra's babies were truly loved by their mother and seemed very happy with their attentive mother. You see throughout rest of season, how Allicent & Rhaenyra's parenting is like day & night. Not once have we seen Rhaenyra talk badly about her brothers to her kids. Also no Vhagar is the one of the original dragons who first belonged to the conquerors sister Visenya i believe, so shes over 200yrs old. Vhagar(female dragon) was mentioned by tiny Laena to Viserys(1x02), she asked the king where Vhagar nested since she's too BIG for the dragon pit. The dragon in the pit who fired at Aemond was Helaena's dragon i believe. (Same Dragon who's mother to Danys dragons i hear)
