Pledger's Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone.

A lot has gone on for the past 2 months but I finally have been able to settle in to my new place and can get back into finishing up the demo!

There will be a lot of changes during this final phase of pre-alpha, so things may be inconsistent and confusing but I assure you, I am finishing up the final details of the project. I had a lot of decision paralysis in 2022 and due to some other conflict of interests I had to make some major changes to the game back in January. 

Since then I've been collectively adjusting the game and its story to suit the game play and it's mechanics, since I originally wanted a simple combat system and not just a Visual Novel. I wanted to have epic moments where the characters would battle a badass monster or character and the tension and intensity would be invigorating to play through. Being a major fan of a lot of RPG games, its something I as an RPG player wanted to make, along with a fun story and cute and sexy characters to interact with.

With the original story, it was designed more to be a Visual Novel, but I have been able to add more action in the story along with its rom-com and slice of life elements. Also by having action, it allows there to be more opportunities for conflict and overcoming narrative obstacles, and having more opportunities for character development. 

It felt limited with the original story and this change feels way more fun and interesting. This change wasn't an issue with adjusting the story but it does increase the scope slightly. I will also repeat that there still may be some changes if things dont work out and that I will still need time to work out the details.

Unfortunately, due to my situation for the past 2 months, i have lost a ton of time on development and may have to push the demo back some time after June, but we shall see what happens. If things go well, it may be out by then, but for now, I don't want to make any major promises other than the fact that I am working hard on completing something I am very proud of.

I may not post as much but I will still be very active on discord if people have questions, although most of you message me in DMs anyways so I dont expect the discord to be too active until i end up sending the demo. 

Once more, I appreciate each and everyone of you guys who has been supporting the project. I hope I will be able to deliver you my vision as soon as I can. Thank you so much.
