October Teaser - Loot tier WIPs (Patreon)

Hi Patrons! The theme for this October is Paladin. We enter a new story arc with the guards of the city we explored in the previous - here we join them as they seek answers to the onslaught of violence they've been subjected to, following the trail of their attackers.

- Our final lore card ended up diverging massively from the first thumbnail. We wanted something more dramatic, and were very inspired by FFXIV concept art for the environment - the sense of scale and intricate detail and linework, big tall architecture.

- As it's spooky month, we leaned a little into skellingtons (the undead - a Paladin's bane) and some Gothic aesthetic. Our creature is a harpy, a terrifying man-eating bird creature.

- Our Paladins are inspired by DnD and WoW, but also by the Piltover Police from the Netflix League of Legends series Arcane. We loved the fantasy cop aesthetic - especially the silly helmets, and the uniform helped suggest that being a paladin in this world is a job, each one is a member of a force.
