August Loot Reveal - ROGUE (Patreon)

As it's now August, it's time to slink into the shadows as a Rogue - talented trickster with a myriad of trinkets and wits at their disposal, from whom no treasure is safe.

This pack includes a Rogue class card, Cerberus pin, and lore card of our Rogue dashing through the city's underbelly to evade the guard and their 3 hounds.

The whir of gears and the clang of steel are drowned out, covered by the sound of your breaths, the laboring pulsating beat in your chest.
You have been running for quite some time, but the pursuit never ends. Your feet push your forward, built to flee.
The crack in your mask reveals the smog to your exposed eye, heavy and thick. You feel yourself actively push through it.
Here in the underground, even the air itself wishes to hold you down.

The hounds have sniffed you out. You may not outpace them, but you can still outpace the enforcer which pulls their chain.
Most would surrender. To be discovered is to have failed, to be pulled from the shadow should be seen as the ultimate defeat.
Still, you run. Built to flee.
The machine above hisses and spits.

The city sprouts upwards like a beautiful tree, but through the smog you can see clearly. The roots are rotten.
An opening presents itself ahead. The burning in your legs slows your sprint, as the mutts begin to close the gap.
But if you can make it to the end, scale the cog ahead, another successful escape will be made.
If you can make it before they close the gap.

You shut your right eye. Gaze only through your true face, see beyond the thick and heavy air.
Turning back, with one eye focused, you throw your blade, aimed square at the chest of your pursuer.
It lands, but provides only a slight reprieve from the dogs. You continue your sprint.
The hounds nip at your heels. Most would surrender.

But your mission is too great. This city must be pruned at the roots.
You ignore the burning in your legs, and leap.
