Spot on Doug, they're detuned if you're hearing a Bb because they're definitely fretting a B. And the pedal in that intro lead is the top E string. It's one of the most fun licks you can play on guitar. How original it is is ambiguous.. the start is the sort of thing Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen were doing in the 80's, maybe even Steve Vai/Joe Satriani were doing tapping on those mixolydian scales at the time too. But the thing is that ACDC put it centre stage in an absolutely thunderous song, you just can't help getting into it. Definitely my fave ACDC song.
