OK, y'all...this is unprecedented in the history of this Patreon...

WE HAVE A TIE!

We just completed the poll for the next Extended Play Lounge episode, focused on albums released during my high school years. These two albums had the same percentage of the vote. And, when I downloaded the CSV, I saw that these two albums got the exact same number of votes.

So, we're having a run-off. Choose your preferred album. This will be a shorter poll, ending on Friday, September 1.

And, rest assured that whichever one of these doesn't win will most definitely be included at some point in the not-too-distant future. Happy voting!

Love both of them, in fact I think I prefer the Black album (which to me is flawed, but still has some steam left .. they went in a different direction after which I'm not into but it's a heck of an album) ... Still as far as musical analysis I think there's more to be learned by diving into Dirt. Alice in Chains has more substance (though both are really amazing albums). I think a discussion about the vocal layering, or song structures can be really helpful. PS Either of them will be awesome
