The next Fan Favorites video will be a big 'end-of-the-year' event, as I'll be including 12 songs based on the community's votes and submissions. The theme this time is "The Twelve Songs of Doug-Mas"...a special gift from me (as Santa) to the community as a show of thanks for all your support. The songs that we're voting on were at the top of our personal wish lists for a future Daily Doug reaction.

So...I've narrowed the list down to the top 24. Now it's the Patreon community's turn to vote on this list and narrow the selections down to the top 12.

You may vote for up to 6, prioritizing the songs you'd like to appear in the video.

The Poll will be active through Saturday, November 26...and I'll be creating the video around the first of December.

Here's a link to a YouTube Playlist featuring all of these selections: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLO0n3LrUjxKpExvXwlHTXP-ztEVS2Rpn-

And...here's a link to a Google Sheet listing all of the selections: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uELjMH_MiwJ2QtZAJtgovcjdy5eu24FjxDfAzeFmpto/edit?usp=share_link

in addition to Doug's sheet with links, I have been doing some vote tracking in the discord and I will continue updating this sheet over the week! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JqIQN1lSam7ORvUjxvobGgAcWdfzhX3mtnhuSjFU5OY

I would LOVE it if the version of Yours Is No Disgrace that was chosen was the live one off "Yessongs". It's amazing!

Les Mable

Pleased to see Sparks in this list, even though they may not get sufficient support. At the time, they were just so unlike anything else out there. They still are by some metrics.

glad ELP's 'Pirates' made the list

I’m hoping that Doug sooner or later will do an EPL on Yessongs. It’s my ‘desert island’ album. I agree that the live version is great, but this studio version is the original and I like it’s punchiness (is that a word?) and the playing by Tony Kaye and Bill Bruford.

Up the Irons!

Claudio Fernandes

That title reminded me of the 12 Dreams of Dr Sardonicus album by Spirit. Great stuff!!

Jean-Michel LaFontaine

Too bad, Änglagärd is unknown. Doug would love this one.

Arrow2theACL

Agreed. Doug has heard them in live council hangout months ago. We listened to Sorgmantle, but as with all the council hangouts, it's not a complete dissection of the music, but a fun listening party among friends.

If EOTW doesn’t make it in you should definitely do WOTW as an extended play. Such a great album but is going to lose in polls containing Pink Floyd and that ilk.

Jean-Michel LaFontaine

I really hope he does either Hybris or Viljäns Öga ans EPL. Änglagärd is so underrated. Saw the live a few years ago and it certainly was one of my top concerts ever.

Richard Stoney

Too many good songs to choose from! Shadow of the Hierophant is even better as the conclusion to Hackett’s debut solo album, Voyage of the Acolyte, which would make a great extended play.

Jan Michael

Voted for Jeff Wayne but yeah, doesn't look too good. I would really like to hear Doug's opinion because it's a piece I've learned to know when I was in Doug's age, about 10 years ago. Heard it on the radio and was intrigued so I was determined to find out what that;s all about. They still play it on the radio here in Holland. It's making the TOP 1000 each year easily.

Aaron West

Just so you know, WOTW is on the master list. Hopefully Doug will get to it someday. I think it would make for an enjoyable reaction.

Looks like Yours Is No Disgrace is a shoo-in... the live version from Yessongs absolutely blows away the studio version, hope that is the recording of choice!

Doug is said it will be Doug's choice EPL eventually, since it's not known enough to ever win a poll.
